Long lasting
Long lasting per charge. First battery failed at 5 months. Customer service was excellent. Had new battery in less than two weeks.

Economic Choice for DeWalt Tools Used for Household Tasks
Frequently, a household task requires a short time use of a power tool. These are economically priced, proprietary DeWalt batteries. The 2 amp-hour batteries are light weight and hold sufficient power for most household tasks.

Good product
Haven't used it much as I just gotten it but seems to b well made ,packaged well, used it so far for about 5min but I had no issues with its performance, I did charge it before use and charged within an hour or so .

original dewalt battery.
This is a legit dewalt battery, not a fake ,at least the one I purchased was. I called dewalt to register this battery. they wanted pictures of battery to verify a fake. It was not. But bear in mind that Mega Tools is not a authorized dewalt retailor. And dewalt will not honor the 3 year warranty.

For my flashlight
Bought this for my Dewalt flashlight because it has a lower profile. Works great on my flashlight and allows me to use the magnet now. Serves my purpose. I prefer having some of these flashlights over ones that use AAA batteries because they often leak.

Compact and light best for Drills/Drivers
I have just about every DeWalt 20v tool, from basic drill to pole saws, hedge trimmers, etc. Very happy with all. I have a collection of 5AH and 6AH batteries, and ordered a pair of 2AH to use with my drill and 1/4" impact driver, due to light weight and compact size. I don't have experience with the "power stack" batteries or the 20/60 flex batteries. Received the 2AH today. 2/3 charge. Worked fine with my drill, and they are on the charger now. With regard to power/weight, the 2AH weight 365 grams (182g/AH), the 5AH weigh 635 grams (127 g/AH), and the 6ah (which is huge relative to the 5) weighs 975 g (162 grams/AH), so from that standpoint the 5AH is a clear winner in terms of power to weight. With regard to cost/AH, the 2AH pair cost $71 ($35.50 each, $17.75 per AH), the 6AH is currently selling on Amazon for $202.49 for a pair ($ 101.25 each, $20.25 per AH, and the 5AH is currently selling on Amazon for $129 for a pair ($64.50 each, $12.90 per AH). There is even a kit of 2 5AH, charger, and bag for $131.19 which is a great deal if you don't already have a charger(s).I knew this going in, and bought the 2 AH for compact size and less weight, but for power to weight and cost per AH, the 5AH seems to be the "sweet spot". You can do the math for other batteries (but I don't have weights): The "power stacks) are quite pricey. The 9AH 20/60 flex volt is $17,17 per AH, etc.In summary, the 2AH are light and compact, but not the best "value". Do your own comparisons based on your tools and needs. I don't know that I would trust the "knockoffs", fearing that I might set my house on fire....
