It's special in its own right.
The Earl Grey is a flavoured black tea, which isn't sweet. The Bergamot flavour is slightly bitter, and it smells good. The intensity, as opposed to the packaging description, is as strong as the English Breakfast tea. But the taste of the Earl Grey might not be very discernible if you're eating something while you drink your tea. The Earl Grey makes for an amazing afternoon tea, a formal conversation beverage, etc. But the English Breakfast Tea will still continue to be my preferred morning tea.
