Omron M4 HEM-7155T-EBK Plus Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor

My mum is not long out of hospital and was diagnosed with high blood pressure and was given tablets to take for it. rather than have a district nurse come out and do it weekly i thought as i am a staff nurse i would buy a monitor and do it for her. i ordered it on fri teatime and it arrived sat morning. i took my mums blood pressure immediately and it was sky high. i did everyone else in the family and that was normal and then retook my mums,still dangerously high. i contacted nhs 24 and they sent a dr to see her. he took my mums blood pressure and it was still high and he asked to use mine,probably just checking that mine was reliable,which it was,it was exactly the same reading as the dr got with his. he prescribed another HBP medicine for her. im not recommending that everybody should be taking their own blood pressure and diagnosing themselves without medical consultation,the point i am making is that without this device i wouldnt have known my mums blood pressure was at a seriously high level.This machine is fantastic, easy to use and well worth the money. i see from other comments that they say the cuff was too small but in my case its a perfect size, first class service. would highly recommend this brilliant machine. well done. cant thank you enough

Spend £10/15 over the basic model = it is worth every penny. I am really happy with it and for someone with high blood pressure that's a good thing 😉

I decided to splash out and spend rather more than I wanted to on this blood pressure monitor. But after using it daily for some time I've no regrets. Its very easy to use, reliable and accurate and the cuff makes life so simple. I also love the way I can sync and log readings with my phone app to store data and monitor trends. You definitely get what you pay for and this is well worth the investment.

This is very handy indeed. I'm into fitness and want to be able to see what my heart rate and BP is (obv I can count my heart rate or use other devices such as my phone) but you can only check your BP with this.. The price was excellent. I know my upper arm is around 15 inches on the left side. Intended to buy this + the extra cuff. I'm not a fat guy, fair enough I do go the gym but I'm not a roider or anything. I elieve most fully grown men have upper arms that are too big for the cuff that comes with this (be it to body fat, and I'm not talking about being overweight or muscle). I tested it at least on a female friend and it worked perfeclty. Pulse reading was accurate and blood pressure too. I do think it' silly how small the cuff and there's no option to just buy it with a large cuff. I now have to order the larger cuff but it's still a very good price and a great product. 5/5 if they gave you the option to choose cuff size instead of having to pay extra. Comes with batteries and a neat bag to store in. It's very straightforward and self explanatory to use and is probably as accurate as anything they'd use at you in a hospital (perhaps not a fast). Whether you're an athlete, have health problems or just a normal guy. You should get one of these. Jut make SURE TO GET a correct cuff size. Knowing your blood pressure is vital because you could have a problem or you could have excellent blood pressure (from doing good cardio workout).. in which case the smugness and confidence you get from it is well worth the cost.. and with the bag you can carry it around with you testing all your mates blood pressure. Make sure they're all healthy, or just to gloat how much fitter you are and be a total ****!

Great quality works really well

This monitor is the same as the model used by my GP. It is easy to use and the read out is very clear. As well as blood pressure it also records your pulse rate. Using it at home, as recommended by my GP, I get more accurate results being more relaxed, and also you can take a series of readings to get an average, (also recommended by my GP), as pressure fluctuates throughout the day, typically being lower first thing in the morning. It is a useful device that could give you an early warning if you need to seek medical advice, but do remember not to self-diagnose. Do see your GP if you have any health problems and also to see how often and when they recommend you use the monitor. According to the instructions one set of batteries lasts for 300 readings but I cannot verify that yet as I have only had it a short while, but if needed it can be used from the mains with an optional adapter. My only criticism is that you should be given an option of what size cuff is supplied with it.

Knowing from my Doctor that my blood pressure is too high, I bought one of these to monitor it myself. The machine is very easy to use and produces readings which equate very well with the ones my Doctor does. This suggests that the machine is very accurate. The memory, which stores the last 21 readings, is a useful feature and there is a little booklet in which you can record your readings. The instructions are easy to follow, clear and comprehensive with useful information about your blood pressure. Batteries are included and are supposed to last for 300 readings. An excellent product, which seems to be well made and fits easily in it's supplied carrying bag. The low price increases its appeal and provides excellent value. Highly recommended then.

This is so easy to use, especially with the app, it automatically transfers your readings to it where you can view all and even share the data as an "excel" file etc. I'm just unsure about its accuracy though as the readings are all over the place, even following all the how to use instructions I get normal, grade 1 hypertension, isolated systolic hypertension etc, the app tells you all this, I've no access to another known "calibrated" monitor to compare!

Ottimo prodotto. La marca Omron è ottima per quanto riguarda gli apparecchi di misurazione della pressione. Acquistato per la misurazione frequente in due persone ipertese, funziona molto bene. Il bracciale è abbastanza facile da posizionare tanto che riesco a misurare la pressione su me stessa anche senza aiuto di altre persone. Le misurazioni sono affidabili e allineate a quelle della farmacia. Buon dispositivo, compatto, affidabile, e anche di prezzo contenuto. Lo ricomprerei

A mi madre se le rompió su antiguo tensiómetro, también un Omron, después de 9 años, y como este es el que he regalado también a otros miembros de la familia y sé que funciona muy bien, pues se lo compré a ella también. Es ideal para personas mayores porque sólo tiene un botón. Bueno, tiene otro para las memorias, pero el funcionamiento básico es con el botón azul grande, no tiene pérdida y cualquiera lo aprende a manejar en dos minutos. Es más rápido y sencillo de manejar que el modelo que tenía antes, y para lo que ella necesita, es perfecto. Pero lo mejor es el precio, es bastante más barato en Amazon que en otras tiendas.

Questo articolo non l'ho acquistato per me ma per la mia famiglia. Preciso che sono stati colpiti da infarto e che la pressione va assolutamente tenuta sotto controllo. I valori sono abbastanza precisi confrontati con uno sfigmomanometro professionale. Le differenze sono minime. Il bracciale è sufficientemente grande anche per un uomo di corporatura media. E' di facile utilizzo,numeri sul display molto grandi e non stringe troppo quando si gonfia. L'ho provato personalmente. Io porto la pressione bassa (per fortuna) ed altri apparecchi mi stritolavano il braccio. Questo no.C'è un sensore che lo fa stringere al punto giusto. Lo consiglio a tutti per la precisione, la facilità di utilizzo ed ultimo, ma non ultimo,il prezzo assolutamente competitivo rispetto a quello,per esempio,delle farmacie dove viene venduto al doppio!

Estaba buscando un tensiómetro y me decidí por este modelo por dos cosas en particular: La primera el hecho de que no es de muñeca, tengo muy malas experiencias con esa clase de modelos. Tal vez ya hayan mejorado desde que yo lo tuve pero las mediciones no eran muy correctas y mi medico me recomiendo los de brazos pues eran más precisas a pesar de ser mas grandes que los de muñecas. Y la segunda cosa por la que elegí este producto fue el precio. Todos los tensiómetros de esta clase son muy parecidos y no me parece normal tener que pagar 80€ en una farmacia por un producto tan similar a este.
