Laugh and Grow Bible for Kids: The Gospel in 52 Five-Minute Bible Stories

My 4.5 year old is really enjoying this story bible, and I am too! The illustrations are super cute and the bible stories are fairly easy to understand. The description says it's for ages 4-8 and I think that's probably about right; some of the stories and vocabulary are a little hard for my son to understand right now, but I like that it's something we will be able to read for years to come. It has a little "ribbon" bookmark, which I didn't expect on a children's story bible. This is also a great little story bible if you have a children's story time at church during the worship service. Since the stories aren't too long and are easy to read, it keep kids' attention for 5 minutes. I also like that it's got the "Family Connection" page at the end of every story with some helpful info/fun fact, two questions to encourage discussion, and a small prayer. Perfect for reading at home with your own kids or for a 5ish minute long children's story during the Sunday morning worship service.

I bought this Bible for my 7 year old twin boys and we love it so much! It is easy to read, even for them as they are learning, and easy to understand. The stories are written in a fun way and the pictures are so pretty! We really enjoy the main talking points, and questions at the end of the stories. It is a great way to get them thinking and discussing what we just read. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a kid friendly Bible.

Our family enjoys this storybook Bible so much that we bought 4 more to give away to our friends and family! This kids Bible is SO well done that it has made our Bible time with the kids so much more enjoyable! The kids are much more interested and engaged, the stories are told in such a fun way! They even make me laugh sometimes when I read it to them! Our kiddos are 6 and almost 9 and they both love it and look forward to hearing the stories. They take about 5 minutes to read and have some family discussion questions after each story. The pictures are beautifully done in a child-like fun way and those big Bible words are all explained for them. The book also features a recommendation of a section of the actual Bible to refer to for each story- sometimes several verses, sometimes entire chapters. I cannot recommend this book enough- if I could give more stars, I would! We enjoy it so much that we also now subscribe to “Minno” on our TV…which has videos that go along with almost all of these stories (not word for word, but close) as well as other great videos!

Bought these for grandkids. Great illustrations and content. Very engaging and written for younger child’s typical comprehension level.

We’re halfway through this devotion with my 5-year-old son. The lessons are clear, biblically sound, and keep him excited and engaged the entire time. I’m learning alongside him as well—it’s amazing how the simple truths of the gospel can speak so powerfully. Illustrations are fun and it comes with a book ribbon to keep your place. I catch my son reminding me to do his devotion with him each night in excitement.

Great Bible for kids. My daughter asks me every night to read to her. Great way to break them into the Word of God!! Easy to understand and there are videos that follow along with each story in this Bible.

This Bible is awesome. The broken down chapters are well put together and the questions afterwards are great for encouraging children and seeing them grow in their faith as well as the whole family. Have done this with my son and also as a larger children’s group.

My seven year old LOVES this Bible and so do I. The illustration is engaging and the writing is extremely kid friendly and fun to read. Thanks to Minno we have a developed a fun evening routine of reading one Bible story before bed, discussing important themes and watching the corresponding video on the Minno app to solidify what was learned. It's the best. If you're looking for an engaging Bible for your kid(s), this is the one to get. You won't regret it. SIDE NOTE: I had to return this Bible twice because both times I received it, it was clearly used. There were scuff marks on both books, one book had loose binding, and one book was even chipped on the cover. I didn't want to bring the rating down because of Amazon's failure to send a new book (instead of 2 used ones pretending to be new), but this was definitely annoying.

Absolute steal!! This book is one of the best Bible based stories book out there. It has about 60 stories. Each story is about 3 pages long. They are summarized versions. The language is good. English is easy and simple. The story ends with references to the chapters in the Bible. Questions about the story and a short prayer for the kids to read. The illustrations are great. The print quality is very good. And more importantly The binding is of very good quality. My kid, 6 years old, loves to read this everyday and have almost completed the entire book. It's a definitely something you would be very happy to buy. Plus they have a an app. The Minno app that has all these stories available as videos. You can watch them on youtube kids too.

Great way to introduce young children to the stories of the Bible. Easy to read with nice talking points appropriate for young children. Prayers at the end of the story are also very nice and easy to remember. I highly recommend this for bedtime ritual.
