Plugged it in and rebuild on raid took over. Picked up drive without a glitch. Working good so far.

unpack, insert, configure RAID, enable in Windows and format, done

This is a very useful enterprise level 2.5" HDD for your DELL server that works well and seems to have less errors than knockoff drives that we have tried. I'm not sure why but DELL has done a great job with these drives.

These are a great buy. The only minor down side is the label on the tray doesn't match what the drive is. I also only received 3 of four mounting screws. The drive is claimed to be new, which I tend to believe, under the microscope, I saw no indication of connector wear. Performance is expected of a 5 year old drive, not as good as a 10K or 15K drive, but you get what you pay for. Again, this is a great value for the money.

I don't know if these were new or used, but they work as expected and have been in service for a few months with no issues.

Stores stuff runs fine, a bit slow but that is expected.
