Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Bought these two kites for my boyfriend and my daughter as we love going on walks and this changes up the simple walks quite nicely, could even count as a gentle exercise as when caught in the strong wind, these kites do fly and pull quite hard!They came as a set of two colourful kites, one bigger suitable for an adult to fly and another one that's slightly smaller but just as fun to fly and my 3 year old was capable of holding it down and having a lot of fun with it.We did get a slight tangle in the tassels and they also started draping, but for the price of around £25, I'd say the quality is sufficient and they will last us at least couple of years. You can see in the photo the creased and drapy tassels, but when it's up in the air, it works just fine and looks lovely. The only problem is that it does tangle very easily, therefore it will take some effort to tidy it up amd store it well to use in the future.They are quite stable in the air too and catch the wind well. Although not very heavy, they drop to the ground only very occasionally and thus my little daughter was very pleased with herself as the kite was in the air most of the time.I would say to try and keep them tangle free after every use, as otherwise you will end up with a bundle of draping tassels and the only solution will be to trip them :) but if you look after your things, these two kites will bring a lot of joy to your walks.

This is great for the price, it is quite light weight so good in fair to light winds. I woukdnt recommend in strong winds. The kite is easy to get started even in almost no wind conditions.The quality is pretty standard but you will always get what you pay for.All roundd happy with the price for quality

I purchased this kite for my 8 year old grandson. It’s his first kite and he absolutely loved it. It is so easy to assemble and flies well . It’s colourful and gave hours of fun and is good value .

I thought this was great for the price. It’s a bit wet here at the moment for lots of kite flying but we’ve had a quick go with it. It was easy to put together and flies well. Kids have had great fun with it.

Whilst flying my Octopus kite, being the child I am, I wanted to see how high it would go, full line. With about 6 inches to spare, realised it wasn't attached to the handle. (Usually a hole in handle where line is threadedthrough and knotted) Needless to say i nearly lost it! I was on a very windy beach and there is no way a child would be able to hold this one in those conditions. My husband had to stand on the line to take out the tension to enable me to wind it in!! Fabulous fun though, super bright and for the money, happy with them. In the video, only about a third of the line is out.

Great, robust kite. Assembled by a 9 year old. Flew beautifully in high winds on Dunstable Downs. Look forward to using it again.

Perfect for our granddaughter - lightweight and colourful

We had a lesson, where we were supposed to build a zip line to teach about gravity.But I've been struggling to get them outside and so decided to hack the school lesson plan and make my own.We took the kites out on a rather frosty afternoon, it was a little blustery. They took to the air really well.The set up and initial flight required some adult help. But once in the air the children were perfectly capable of flying them on their own.At one point we actually forgot we were learning anything and had some fun.The handles are strong and durable, the kites took some fairly fierce wind and lived to tell the tale.The look beautiful in the winter air, we look forward to flying them again in the summer months when it's a little warmer outside.
