It's great- so easy to use.

This worked perfectly. I left my hair feeling very soft. However there was very little in the tube. I would have preferred to be twice as much solution. However I will buy it again to touch up the front of my roots which are very gray

Tried this for the very first time. Convenient with the dye and peroxide. Just unscrew the top bottle and pour it into the bottom bottle, shake with bottle top screwed on, then remove and screw on the applicator. I didn’t like the application brush it came with as it was really hard to use. It is all they give you to apply the dye. I couldn’t get the dye out and if I squeezed the bottle too hard it came out in a blob. I kind of got the hang of it after a while, and of course by then it was empty. I will say the coverage is good, but since I have really resistant white hair (like Mrs. Claus white)...lol I chose to leave it in longer and I didn’t need to as it got a little darker than I wanted. Will try it again and just not leave it in as long. I tried Clairol’s root touch and even though they use a separate brush for application the coverage and color wasn’t as good. I use a #6 color, and even though I was a little dark (my own fault for not following directions) the shade matched good and a week later color still looks good. It didn’t with Clairol's. Faded really fast just with the first two shampoos.

This is my go to root cover It's fast and not messy plus you can use some to cover top greys and save the rest to cover side or back when they're ready for touch up

Hadn't been able to visit my stylist for 3+ months, and usually color every 5 weeks. I was starting to look like Lily Munster with shocks of grey, 1.5-2" of new growth. I used Medium Golden Brown and it matched my color perfectly. I started in the greyer areas and left on 15 minutes to make sure it soaked in. Even though I usually get foiled highlights, the color held onto the grey more than elsewhere, so still looked a little highlighted. I do NOT have completely white roots, so don't know about that type of coverage. This is supposed to be permanent, but I did notice a little fading after a few washes. It's been about 3 weeks and I'm ready to do it again soon. For the price, I'm quite okay not paying $100+ as often as I was.

I dye my hair with L’Oreal 5R Light Auburn, so I thought this would be perfect for my roots. Application was super easy and mess-free! That said, the color match was pretty awful lol - pics show before and after. I left it on for 10 minutes, but after washing it out, my roots looked bright orange! I then used the rest of the tube to add more and let it sit for an additional 10 minutes, and it darkened to the mahogany color seen in the photo. I’m sure there’s user error on my part, but this product is designed for at-home users so I’m a bit disappointed.

I used this product for the first time. Stuck at home during Covid-19 and my roots were really bad. I could not stand looking at my hair during this crisis. It just made me feel worse. This was easy to mix, use and apply. I left it on for 20 minutes. I used the number 6 light brown. I have never colored my hair this was the first time doing so. Now I think when I can go back to the beauty parlor I won’t be going as often. After 3 weeks my roots come in. So instead of going once a month to get my hair colored I’ll go every 7 weeks or so. Thanks to L’Oréal my sprits have been lifted even though I’m very sad the world has lost so many people during this awful pandemic.

This L'Oreal Paris Magic Root Rescue is super-handy to have during this crazy Corona Virus time. I wanted something I could use at home while the salons were closed. Decided to give this a try, as I am a fan of other L'Oreal products. I like that there is a tamper-proof seal on both openings of the box, top and bottom. This little bottle actually does my whole head of roots, which I was surprised about, since my hair is thick. I do keep it on 15 - 20 minutes for better gray coverage and it works well. I used it with the brush attachment to get it on the roots well. Now I don't want to go back to the salon and pay much more. This does not last quite as long as the salon dye, so I may alternate once I start feeling like I want to go out again for hair care. I am so glad I came across this product. I will keep using it at least every other time and save some money!

Very good stuff and does what it's supposed to.

Wash out after several washes leaving hair yellowish. Brush is very convenient so I give a 4, but do not expect a long term fix

I was not sure what to expect results wise from this product, but I am so glad that I tried something outside my normal comfort brand to color my roots. I usually get my hair colored in a salon by a beautician, but with the CoronaVirus pandemic, I've been trying to limit my outdoor visits. I haven't colored my roots for a while now, so it was the perfect time to try this. The instruction were simple and easy to use. The ammonia-free solution and no dye promise was what really stuck out as I am very particular about my hair. I have a good growth of hair, but my only issue are gray hairs. It was so easy and quick to apply and did not leave any messy situation behind . I ended up with an excellent coverage. This product is definitely highly recommended by me. I may not be a professional, but I am someone who uses a lot of hair products and I can give you an honest opinion that go and try this for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
