Detroit Axle - Front Ball Joints for Jeep Grand Cherokee Wrangler Comanche

Installed on my TJ. Theses are as advertised and so far have held up well, trail test coming soon. If installing on a tj the Retaining clip wont fit on the lower and a special cup is needed to prevent installing crooked and binding.

Worked great in my 03 dodge ram 2500

Fit. Not the best quality but works. Greese fitting would thread in with out some work, but I got it. The bolts that it comes with are a bit undersized and flimsy, same with the castle nuts. Gets the job done for cheep. JWB

These saved the day. Had to replace front struts on Nissan Titan and found that upper ball joints were shot so I ordered this kit, upon tearing into front end discover the lower ones were worse so this kit saved my behind from having to pay double at the part store.

I just now installing these. I was doing some other work on brats. I thought since I was there. I'd redo those redo the axles. Reduce the ball joints. Just start off fresh good to go. Seattle is gonna get back on the trail.

NO STARS, but they FORCE you to at least click one star! They are actually - 5 stars! TERRIBLE JUNK PART, I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING THAT DETROIT AXLE MAKES EVER AGAIN! These I installed new in 2023 and a few weeks ago turning in to our driveway the driver side bottom ball joint decide to pop apart and ripped my drive axle joint out of the cup where it goes into the front hogs head for the 4WD. Thankfully I wasn't going down the road at a high rate of speed, just a mile and hour or two at the most and it also pushed my wheel into my inner fender and bowed out bending my fender where it meet the driver door. So now I have to pay for new parts AGAIN, to which I bought Mooge this time and waste another half of a day to a day tearing down and replacing these ball joints and drive axles, but also I've got to pay for a Body shop to repair and realign my fender! SO THANKS A LOT DETROIT AXLE for PARTS that just come apart and tear up other things as well! Worse part is I can't get my money back for this junk!

Parts came very quick and were the correct parts for my truck 2008 dodge ram 2500 just put them on so time will tell if they hold up.
