Yes it contains panthenol and it contains something they are spelling/calling linalool. I'm not sure if that is in the same family as lanolin or not.

Is this product sulfate free?

No, it's the first ingredient. I've stopped using it, and use mainly Aveeno Baby, yes, Baby! Leaves my hair really soft and manageable.

This smells amazing! Due to allergies though, I need to know, do any of the ingredients contain mammal byproducts?

I’ve been using this for the past eight years and absolutely love it. I first started using it in our hotel room at the Paris Westin Vendome and then began ordering it through the Westin Hotel website. As far as I know, there are no mammal byproducts in the lotion. I highly recommend this product.
