Rock Climbing Holds for Kids

This product came exactly as described - vibrant colors, all of the pieces were in the package, easy to install, and of good quality. This has provided hours of fun for my family, and has held up to adult weight as well. The size of the stones is perfect for kiddos of all ages.

These were well made manufacturer recommended putting them on plywood but I decided to use an old oak tree so that my grandkids could climb up the old oak tree into the tree fort which has worked perfectly and then safety road is great because I installed it above and I'll put it down the side of the plastic rock climbers that way if they need help or just want to use the road to get on up or down really nice set

It's exactly what I expected. If you know anything about climbing or holds then these are self explanatory. There are no instructions on the box so be sure to search for a video if you don't know how to install holds. For my 3 year old I mounted these on a framed sheet of 1/2 inch plywood. It's sturdy enough to hold my adult weight but I didn't clib as much as I just stood on a single hold to test it. I would have liked to see the holds have a more robust hardware and no void behind the mounting holes. Had they been constructed this way I would have mounted them on 3/4 inch plywood and be climbing with my kids. Tips: lay out holds where you want them and mark through the holes in the hold where you are going to drill and mark what color hold you had in that spot. Mark all holes first then drill all holes at the same time. Then on the back side of the plywood place all t nuts in place before you tap them all in with a hammer. This will be a time saver. Next it mount by colors following your marks.

Kids love it. Installed on 9mm marine ply outdoors under shade nearly a year ago, still looks new.

Much added fun for the playset being built. Easy to put on, 2 years later still being used. The climbing pieces themselves could have been a little bigger but worked great my small kids.

Purchased this rock wall climbing kit almost 5 years ago and it's still being used today! Easy to install and very sturdy. Looks great. Bright and colorful.

Kit comes with everything you need to install. Rock holds are thick and sturdy. I mounted on 5/4 deck boards and bolts were plenty long. I only used half of the kit for the wall in the pic. FYI: the ideal drill bit size is 5/16”, a little bigger than the bolts but just right for the nut to sink into the backside of the wood. The allen head size on the bolts is 3/16”.

I built a rock wall on my swing set using 1x6 boards. The finished wall measured 4’x 6’ if you look at my wall you can see that there are plenty of rocks in the kit that would have allowed me to build it somewhat taller. My grandkids are 4, 6 and 10 years old and the rocks are spaced in a way that they can all use it. The rope was a nice addition to the wall and I am glad to have it.
