Hound & Yard Deluxe Dog Bed in Country Tweed with Removable and Washable Cushion Cover Grey (Medium)

We first discovered this bed when we were away a few weeks ago. It was within the accommodation and our dog loved it. So we decided to get him this bed. He’s got so many throughout the house but the one he sleeps on at night was due an upgrade.If you find this review helpful, please mark it as so. Thank you :-)Size - we opted for the medium size. Our dog is small, he’s a chug. From the pics hopefully it gives you a feel for size (he’s a cross between pug and chiuahaha). The dimensions listed are accurate on the site:Comfiness - as I type this, I can hear my dog snoring away in the hallway. It makes me super happy to see him so comfy. He loves this bed.Quality - all looks good, nice and sturdy. I imagine the shape will go after a while but to be expected really. We change dog beds every 1-2years (he has 4 across the house). This bed will mainly get used 9pm until 8am so will see how the wear and tear goes and update the review if anything is spotted.Value for money - my dog loves it so have to say 5*. The bed is delivered in perfect order, fully unfolded so no vacuum packaging in sight. The bed itself is well made and the materials are beautiful and really compliment our living room. I've seen a few comments that mention that the cushion is quite thin - I don't fully agree. Whilst it's not a plump as a pillow might be, I think it's perfectly adequate for cushioning a pup properly in the bed itself. We haven't started using it yet, as we're waiting for our four legged friend to arrive in June - but we're certain he's going to love it. Great product and would buy again!

The dog bed looks good and the outer shell keeps its shape, it has very strong stitching. My dogs like to play with their beds and have great fun turning them upside-down and dragging each other across the floor in them. They are very sturdy and still look like new after 8 weeks of sleep and play. I only gave 4 stars for thickness as the inner cushion was a bit thin but the cushion has a zipped cover so I replaced the pad with a pillow which was a perfect fit. The outer shell is well padded. I would buy again I think it is a great overall pet bed for the price.

I cant rate the chew proof on this as we havent our little baby with us yet. We bought this bed in advance and my god it's got such a luxury feel about it. Makes a statement in any country/chic home so fits in with our decor beautifully. Love how it wasnt flat packed. Nice touch that it has a zip to access the cushion, which means it can be easily washed/replaced. I would highly recommend this bed to others we have seen, tested out that are very cheaply made yet often cost more. Very happy.If I could comment on anything that could be changed or adapted then it would be a more luxurious pillow inside to give it the show stopper all round, but easily sorted regardless. The bed didn’t come vacuum packed which is a bonus, no waiting for it to plump up! Pillow is thinner than what I thought but nothing an extra bed pillow won’t fix. Plenty big enough for both of our dogs to share and the fabric and pattern is beautiful and high quality! Would definitely buy again if needed!

Thrilled with this purchase. So is Zanzi! The bed looks great, and Zanzi has been sitting or snoozing in it since it arrived! Great material, classic print- fits perfectly into the country kitchen. We looked at other beds, more expensive and poorer quality. The bed looks exactly like photo. There were some comments about the cushion not being full and I was prepared to replace it with a pillow- but this has not been necessary at all. We wanted a nice looking bed with high edges and a comfortable cushion and a cover that can be removed for washing. Pleased to have found everything in this item at a great price point and would definitely buy again.

I spent a long time looking for the right bed for my Shih tzu, this one ticked all the boxes. Nice firm high sides so he can rest his head and a removable, washable cover for the cushion which is nice and plump. He has plenty of room to move about so it would easily suit a slightly larger dog. It is very well made and good value for the price. We are both very pleased.
