Ultimate GD&T Pocket Guide: Based on ASME Y14.5-2009

I've worked as a Machinist for more than 40 years. I've even taught True positioning tolerances classes for a large US aerospace company. This pocket guide is on my workbench every day. It is abbreviated from the full book but has everything right at your finger tips.

Good ref. guide if you already have more then just a basic knowledge of GD&T. If you are a beginner I'd get a more detailed guide book. Small enough to fit into a pocket or tool box top. Good product for machinist and quick ref. for inspectors but not detailed enough for advanced complex-difficult drawing Interpretation especially if the engineer got it wrong. Good product for it niche, you just need to understand the niche.

This book looks good and useful, but there is no zoom feature in the Kindle app for mac. I have a large library and other books can zoom in. With my eyesight I cannot read this book. It is too small on the screen. Attempts to zoom in any way crash the app. Might not be this book's fault, but all the other books in my library work fine.

This is a very handy pocket guide for those who need some guidance or more details on GD&T symbols. I purchased it for a client. You can find most of this information online but this is a handy resource to have at your finger tips. It has practical information and is easy to find the information quickly.

If you look at prints, are a designer, a draftsman, machinist, or otherwise involved in manufacturing or engineering, get this pocket guide.

This is literally a pocket guide, I did not realize it would be so small. However, it has a great index on the front cover that quickly guides you to the correct pages for the information you need. This sits on my desk next to my computer and I find myself picking it up at least once or twice while drafting shop drawings. If you're on the fence about it because of the price, it's well worth the money for the convenience of how fast it is to use!

This little book doesn't cover everything, but it's really hand to have nearby when you need a quick GD&T clarification. The build quality is not the best, but it's also not the worst: paper is nice and thick and probably won't wear out any time soon as this booklet gets handled often.

I just got this and what a handy little reference guide! I also like the glossy cover and and back as it should keep better that way. I'll come back to update this review if I run into any problems but, so far, so good.

Use it all the time. Great references and examples.

Its a very basic summery of standard of GD&T, SO a good reference if you already know a lot about it.
