Why did you pick this product vs others?:I wanted something to put in my bird bath to keep the water from getting gross and look cute, but I needed something simple to use. This is perfect! I do find that I have to add water about daily, but it'll OKs great and was so easy to put together and it just sits in the water! As long as the sun is up, the fountain is running!

If I could give them more than five stars, I would! The little fountains will go higher, the more sun they get, but they still will spray with some sun available. They have little guides on the sides to keep them from bumping into the sides of the pond and we hid them under the lily pads and so you can’t see them at all, but I absolutely love the fountains. I bought three in case one ever quit working and I’m so happy that I did. They are just the perfect size for our little kidney shaped pond and I encourage everyone to get one!

I would have given this product a 5 I'm sure eventually. I really didn't have too much time to enjoy it in its "new" condition. I received it, very pleased, love all the attachments. Set it up actually for my bully in his pool. My dog loved it, the birds loved it and apparently the neighbor's dog loved it so much that he kept jumping the fence to take and chew it up. I found it in the street with teeth marks and punchers and attachments missing however, it was still working!! I changed the attachment and to my surprise still working great. I put back in the pool and that dog got to it again and chewed it even more and it still worked. I really want to buy another one but afraid that it will meet the same doom. Good price, extra hardy, plan on buying another soon..

Reasonably priced. Works fine. Comes with different tips for sprays. Has a lot of directions andI didn't use little "foot" tubes they included. I put my spray tip on and placed it in my birdbath andit started working instantly. I would order it again but my previous one type had lasted for years.

Make sure the diameter is definitely wide enough for water to stay inside when the wind blows. The water height is very tall when sun is out. I love it. Want to buy extra so I'll always have this. Why did you pick this product vs others?:Price was the main factor. Works perfectly well.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is the coolest little solar powered fountain for my bird bath. Just assemble and place it in the water. Perfect for my need.Functionality:I was surprised at how effective it was with minimal sunlight and how high the stream is with full sunlight. Great little device.

The fountain shoots almost 2 feet of water straight up under a direct sunlight - but if it's under a shade or the angle of the sun is off by a few degrees, the suction power is diminished greatly. If you plan to leave it in a middle of a pond or a swimming pool as a decorative piece, then it should be fine but if you are expecting your kids to interact with it, it doesn't really do much.

This thing runs fairly consistently as long as you keep the pump on the under side from getting clogged by algae. I would say once a week just take it out and give it a good washing (frequency is location dependent). Also make sure the water source doesn't run out, or you will burn out the pump. Perfect size for an average bird bath.
