SCORPION EXO-750 HELMET EVERCLEAR SHIELD DARK SMOKE

This visor is exact fit for 750. Identical to the clear, HOWEVER, the anti-fog on the inside is not as anti-fog as they say but the worst part is the outside has a special coating on it that deteriorates easily. I am not sure why. I have gone through 2 of these visors in just over 3 riding seasons. (I am on my 2nd now). I admit the 1st one might of been damaged by something I used on it-however it was not strong. Once this starts the damage will continue regardless of how careful you are or how you take care of it. With that knowledge, I have been VERY careful with this 2nd one however still only made it through one season with out any damage (2015). Now already in 2016 the 2nd visor has already got a bad spot on it. This time I know for sure it is nothing I did wrong. I have ONLY used water with soft rag and towel to clean it and I clean it after every time I use it. I know exactly when it started and evidently there is something in a particular bug,bee,insect of some kind that damages this coating instantly!!! Fortunaely the spot is on the side so I will still be able to use it for awhile (hopefully). They should of done more testing on this for durability and or not used the special coating on the oustide. Otherwise the visor is great !..LOL - THE INTERCHANGE SYSTEM ON THE 750 IS AWESOME, FAIRLY EASY AND QUICK TO CHANGE VISORS which is nice because it is a little on the dark side for night, however I use it any way, just make sure it is very clean.

This dark smoke visor is to replace my silver metallic visor, both for daytime use. The silver one blocked more sun and allowed me to ride without sunglasses. However, the slightest thing (like a dragonfly) would leave a little pit in the silver and eventually it starts to reflect inside the helmet, affecting vision. The dark smoke is not quite as dark as the silver, but it does a good job blocking quite a bit of brightness and in my experience with similar visors, won't get pits that reflect inside the visor.

The Scorpion smoke "EverClear" faceshield fits well and has a useful lever feature that allows you to lift the shield slightly so as to provide more ventilation and to help defog the inside of the faceshield. This is useful because the shield is not as fog free as the name "EverClear" would imply.

After one season of riding a bug finally splattered my faceshield, and now it is 100% ruined. Used soap and water after picking the bug off and it spread a grease-like film everywhere. Everclear my a$$.

Great shield.. Super clarity. They say its Dark Smoke but When I went out for a ride out in the sun it wasn't even that dark. I was out so long it became a night ride. It wasn't that dark that you couldn't see out of it either. So don't be afraid to get this shield and think you won't be able to see out of it. It does say in small print... daytime us only....

Great solution for eliminating glare, no need to deal with fogging sunglasses that don't fit under the helmet. This shield is easy to install and is just dark enough for everyday riding, even on cloudy days. At night, though, you must use the original clear shield.

I bought this to replace the clear shield that came with the helmet. The shield looks awesome on the helmet. The shield was made for my helmet so the fit was perfect. I recommend for anyone looking for a summer shield.
