cut the crap
I've got a Poulan pp133 trimmer and the good part is that this trimmer has massive amounts of power and I haven't met an obstacle it can't take down (within reason). The bad is it takes .115 line manufactured solely by Poulan at ridiculous cost. I think I pay $9 for 12 - 18" precut strings (that's $.75/pc!).I've got 250' of chain link fence surrounding my back yard not to mention 100' + of brick retaining wall edging throughout. This used to burn through 4-6 strings every time I would trim, depending on how steady my hand was that day.I used this for the first time today and couldn't be happier. Reduced string noise, and way more durable. I only used 2 strings for my entire yard and I decided to edge along the sidewalk and cut down the 36" wide tall grass prairie I used to dread growing between my fence and the neighbor's.My only knock against it is that at full length it has a tendency to be pulled out of the cutting head, which, anyone with my trimmer knows this frustration. I'm guessing going up in size would remedy this issue. I'm just happy I've finally found line though enough to do the job and not break the bank.

This line has some advantages and disadvantages.
I bought this three seasons ago. It has lasted a while. I have a Poulan Pro trimmer which I was originally using Poulan .115" line on. Over time the super-twist line is cheaper. It has a few problems though. You have to cut it yourself and it slips out of the cutting head easier than the .115". Why would the .117 line slip when the .115 doesn't? The spiral shape of the .117 super-twist has less contact points than the .115 Poulan line and is tends to pull out when it catches on something. To combat this I pinched a few bards in the middle of the 18" length of line I cut with some pliers. The bards help hold the line in place where it slides into the trimmer head. So cutting the line and pinching the barbs is a little more trouble. On the plus side it cuts faster, is quieter and is cheaper than the Poulan line. You decide.

Its heavy line.
My weed eater uses this size line but it spins the line out at full throttle. I will use this line like previous line. I will tie a knot on both sides of spool to prevent spin out. I use it in a Poulan pro pp335 that's supposed to use 18"precut line. It appears to be a tough line.

Oregon 20-021 Magnum Gatorline Supertwist.118"
Bought this after buying the Oregon 21-602 FlexiBlade 121-Feet Donut of String Trimmer Line 0.118-Inch Gauge, which was unbelievable in cutting weeds with 3/8" stems. Had to change the string only once for 4000 sf of weeds. Found I could not use it to weed wack the grass though, as it would snag and scalp the lawn. The Supertwist line is exactly what I was looking for. Super durable and cuts fast and easy. Definitely a recommended buy.

where were you all my life?
Amazing stuff...the ones you buy at lowes or home depot is not even close. Before this I broke my back by bending down every few minutes to change the spring loaded trimmer line. This one doesn't crack even if i'm trimming along side walk and hitting he concrete. Wonder why they don't sell these at Lowes or Home Depot.

Not as described
I just received this today. It supposed to be .118, even says that on the package but it's the exact same size as the .95. I ordered 6 different brands, one size .80, one size .118 and four .95. I wanted to see what would work best. My trimmer head will work will bigger line so I wanted to try to .118 but it's no bigger than the .95 and actually smaller than 2 of the .95. It does feel thick and should work but definitely not the size it supposed to be.

PROBABLY THE BEST ON THE MARKET FOR THIS USE
I have been using plastic 0.120" diameter red plastic on my weedcutter for about 2 years. This year I could not find any at any of the old places, so I tried 0,105" diameter. WRONG !! The smaller diameter just did not work. They were being pulled out of the head in about two minutes. The Oregon 20-021 at 0.118" fits perfectly and the Gatorline so much tougher than any of the red plastic line that I had been using. I've trimmed the sidewalk and all the way around the yard 3 times so far and I haven't had to change a single 7 inch piece yet. THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT FOR USE IN YOUR "WEEDWHACKER"

Fits Poulan PP133 trimmer which was original Poulan .115 line
So glad I read previous reviews to discover this line will fit Poulan PP133 trimmer(.115 line). So glad I don’t have to order overpriced Poulan only line size. Just have to cut the lengths manually while working in garage listening to music having a beverage. So far line does last longer than Poulan line.
