I ordered this Rowenta steam station to iron my clothes quickly and flawlessly, as my old iron struggled with wrinkles and kept leaking water. This Rowenta Steam Station works really well and makes ironing much easier. The steam is powerful, heats up quickly, and helps remove wrinkles fast. I love this iron! As a quilter, achieving flat seams is a must when precision quilting. This one hits the mark. Has a large water tank so I’m not refilling as often. Easy to use. Very manageable bulk and weight. Good heating speed and length of time before auto turn off when not in use. I had used one before purchasing so knew this was the one for me.

The product itself is good and I mainly bought it to be lightweight. It is the guarantee that is terrible. I am a senior citizen and do not go all over. I paid $300 for this iron so it’s the only iron I have. The iron before a year old starting leaking and the way the cord is designed little holes came on the top of the cord. I called assuming they would take care of it quacking. I’m told I have to box this and take it 2 ups, than wait for a minimum of 3 weeks for them to look at and repair and send it back. So…. in the meantime what do you do for an iron! This is crazy and I hate to think how long I will wait if they can’t find a part. I just think a $300 iron should not have an problems in a years time and a customer should not have to wait until they get to it! Beware! Here is a follow up, I finally got my iron back from service. It came back all white all you it which took me an hour to clean up. Now when I go to iron white sand and little hard stones come out of the iron. I called customer service and they tell me they want me again to package this thing and send it back for repair. They were suppose to repair it not destroy it! Do you know how hard it is for a senior citizen to get this all together and get to the post office with it, not to say the only one making money off the deal is ups. What kind of service is this. The iron is great as long as you don’t have a problem, than forget it! They don’t know what service is. Go buy an iron that is good and backs their product up! Beware with Rowena.

DG8624 1800 Watts (Dark blue handle and dark blue tank) Stainless Steel Soleplate and interior tank, 1.1 Liter Capacity Removable Tank, Iron- Steamer I DISCOVERED THE WATER FILL LINE is actually the bottom of the indented handle-- POUR (1.1 liters) 4.5 CUPS OF WATER INTO THE EMPTY TANK--how clever--you will see what I mean--but it is difficult to see the water level through the dark blue plastic. AMAZING! Cut your ironing to 3/4 the time. I loved my regular type, top of line Rowenta iron (that stays on instead of keep shutting off) and --then I dropped it on tile floor and the plastic water container cracked. To replace it would be around $100. I researched irons and discovered the steam station--It has been so worth it even though it costs a bit more. It is amazing because 1) it heats up fast 2) the motor is not disturbing-- is NOT loud: (THE QUIET MOTOR only turns on when you press the steam button--and runs about 5 seconds every once in awhile ) (I can iron for hours with toddler taking naps 6 feet away in the same room (The Motor: I have only used regular irons and didn’t know that steam systems (with table top tanks) without the “motor” have to be placed higher than the iron so the water flows). BE GRATEFUL FOR THE MOTOR! 3) the INTERIOR STAINLESS STEEL PARTS of the tank takes 1 liter of TAP WATER: --fill anytime while ironing--do not use distilled water (or 1/2 of regular and distilled--to use up your extra supply of distilled jugs) 4) a light comes on when a simple calcium cleaning needs to be done (watch Youtube video) 5) the STEAM PLATE is fantastic with so many holes--when you press the steam button--a flood of hot mist comes out--no drips, in one second creases in fabric disappear-and the steam button you push is so lightly sprung-your finger never gets tired pushing the button (which was a complaint with a different iron I used to have) 6) the unit is NOT BULKY--it seems like it would be--but the whole unit is easy to lift up to store or move--if you have a laundry room closet--you could literally keep the unit in the closet, pull up your ironing board and iron right there or on the counter and not move the iron base unit at all. I iron all kinds of albs and priest vestments which are made of materials that you have to iron hot and lots of steam to have nice creases . I had a Rowenta professional iron that lasted me over 20 years. However I did not allow anyone else to use my iron in my studio, one good reason ? anything lasts longer when one person uses it. So, I found myself having to replace my iron the old and faithful stopped working . I was trying to be frugal and not spend over $150 for another iron since there are so many out there. I did purchase five not all at the same time all different brands and they were horrible so I bit the bullet and I got another Rowenta. this particular model wasn’t the most expensive but it had everything that I needed. I particularly do not like the automatic shut off. I guess ill have to deal with that. Everything else is really good. Easy to use. Water does not drip and or leak out all over the items being ironed. Thats another pet peeve of mine. The tank does not last as long as I need it too, nothing I cant get use to. Over all it’s a good iron. Clean, glides smoothly over fabrics . Love the narrow front for small corners that never get ironed . I don’t like the electronic buttons . However , I will adjust. The iron Gets nice and hot, plenty of bursts of steam when you need it… i loved my older version. Im hoping this one , in this day an age will last just as long .

This Rowenta steam station is a significant improvement over a traditional iron. It produces plenty of steam, removes stubborn wrinkles much faster and makes ironing larger loads of clothes considerably easier. The water tank is also convenient because you can iron for much longer without constantly stopping to refill it. Overall it performs very well and definitely does the job better and faster than a standard iron. That said it still does not quite match the performance of our older Tefal steam station that we purchased in Europe. The Tefal seemed slightly more powerful and delivered better overall ironing results. Nevertheless this is still a very capable steam station and a good choice for anyone looking to upgrade from a regular iron. We are satisfied with it overall but based on the comparison with our previous machine I would give it 4 stars rather than 5.

This was a hefty purchase for me but after replacing the DG50? (the gray and white one) many times over the years and continually having the same issues with it, I decided to take the plunge for the more expensive model. It has proven to be much better as far as the biggest issues I had with the old one. With the old one, the boiler cap always leaked steam which would shoot out and then reduce the use time before I had to fill it with water again. Also the calc build up inside the boiler was terrible, eventually reducing the efficiency of the pressure steamer. The Rowenta DG8624U1 Perfect Pro Station 1800 watts has a water reservoir that pumps some of the water into the boiler as needed. I have absolutely no steam escaping. Great! The large amount of micro steam vents on the bottom of the sole plate is a big plus also. So far I have had no droplets of water on my garments as I use the steam burst feature. It is easy to fill. The biggest minuses I have are: the trigger button on the iron does not protrude very much and is very sensitive. I am always pressing it on accident when just setting the iron back on the boiler. However, I am getting more use to the feel of the trigger and now know NOT to accidentally press down. The other thing that I am not fond of is the button feature on the front of the boiler. My older model had buttons that protruded and toggled up and down for on/off and was easy to depress. The new one does not have protruding buttons and takes more pressure to turn it on and make the adjustments I need. I usually wind up pushing the whole unit back a little just to get it to come on. I have to be careful not to push it off the stand I set the unit on. However, even with the things that kind of annoy me, I love this pressure steamer!! It does a great job and heats up fast and does not leak steam. I love the auto off feature and since it heats up fast that is a big plus for me. I can't tell you how many times I have driven back home to make sure I turned the old one off!!! I only hope I don't have to replace this model as frequently as I did the older model.

I hesitated for weeks before I bought this after having dealt with a bad Rowenta iron for years Did I really want to buy another of their products? However I am so glad that I did. This is the best iron a gay man could ever have. And the best product ever. I never write reviews but needed to on this purchase. All the positive things that people say are true. All the negative things are crap. This is the real deal. A couple things I wanted to know before I purchased…how long is the steam cord? About 7 feet. Can you put the steam generator on the floor…yes, you get all the steam you want and can reach to all the difficult spots. The best thing is that you have continuous steam if you want and don’t need to dampen clothes beforehand. This is a real time saver.

This is the 2nd iron i have received and they both worked for about a week and then have stopped working altogether so I have had to send them both back. I am not very happy with this.

Excelente la verdad se redujo el tiempo de planchado a poco más del 50%. Vale cada peso de lo que cuesta, adicional puedes regular la potencia hasta el momento hemos tenido necesidad de usar el 100% de la potencia.

The smoke is coming out of the boiler. Will never order this brand again. The good reviews is only from USA customers, whatever they send to UAE is different quality cause other people here weren't happy either. Its a shame I didn't notice that before I placed the order
