amazing book beautiful pictures, magial. for and adult perfect for a child.
beautiful images, amazing things to color, if your an adult you will be astonished by everything that is inside of this book. it is a entire world of moments to color.. if this is for a child it will be magical. this book is beautiful and so charming.. I know I put a lot of times that this is my favorite book and its incredible, but this book and the other ones the author put out is a fairyland of adventure for a child, its pure magic, something I thought was lost to us.. I thought that we didn't have those great works like alice in wonderland. I know this is a coloring book and alice is a reading book but this coloring book lets you have and adventure lets you create the story.. with the story.. beautiful there is just so much to love with this coloring book as well as her other coloring books. pages are just as amazing as the last..

Awesome book!
Most pages have a nice combination of fairly simple to complex pictures. A few pages have a single repeated image.

The combination of fantastic art with a whimsical story is just irresistible
The combination of fantastic art with a whimsical story is just irresistible. I'm working my way through this book very slowly, partly because I really want to make each picture beautiful, and partly because it just feels so precious to me that I don't want to take it all in a big gulp. Although I started with this one, I'm backing up and buying Time Garden too, now. There are pictures on both sides of the pages, but the paper is heavy and I've never had a problem with bleed-through. There are fine lines which I am much more comfortable doing with fineliner pens, but I think a really sharp colored pencil could do pretty much all of them. There are also larger shapes which invite colored pencils, or anything else which permits a lot of shading and blending. Since the pages are printed on both sides, if you use colored pencils or anything else that can smudge, you will want a fixative to stop them smudging the opposite page. I just love this book. I've done a lot of mandalas and abstract coloring, and liked them, and I've done some of the Enchanted Garden, which was fine, and some of Hanna Karlzon's books, which I think are truly excellent, but doing a bit of work on The Time Chamber every night before bed feels like each time I'm telling myself a tiny snippet of the best bedtime story ever.

The Time Chamber - Simple but Pretty
The Time Chamber by Daria Song is a beautiful book. The size, shape and cover are elegant! I was so surprised! So, you are drawn to the book as soon as you see it. I, too, am a beginner to coloring books as an adult, but my opinion is the opposite of the previous beginner. I love the more detailed pictures. The ones that I don't care for either have a large, blank background, or a repeating simple design. One thing about this book that I like is that there are a wide variety of style of pictures to color - some small, some large, some partial page, some full page, some double page, some simple design, some intricate design. With this variety, there is something for every type of colorer. You are sure to find something that you like. And the designs are beautiful and fun to color. I recommend this book.

Oh how I love this coloring book!
This is a wonderful coloring book. I love it. I've been enjoying adult coloring books for a couple of months. I have three or four different ones. I recently completed the most famous one out there…the one about a garden…and while I enjoyed it, I also found it a bit tedious. It had pages and pages and pages of leaves. I wore a couple of my green pencils down to nubs. Then I saw The Time Chamber at my local craft store. I purchased from Amazon at such a good price compared to full retail at the store. What a joy this book has been. It tells a simple story and the drawings are superb. I look forward to my time after dinner when we're just watching TV and I can relax and color. I usually finish a page each evening. While I'm not very artistic I do enjoy this way of creating in a small way. I highly recommend this color book.

Another spellbinding journey!
I highly recommend The Time Chamber by Daria Song if you love its prequel - The Time Garden. This time we follow the journey of the fairy who was fascinated by the beautiful objets d'art in the little girls bedroom. As in The Time Garden, most of the illustrations are well drawn and highly detailed. There are some wallpaper designs but majority of the illustrations span across 2 pages into the spine. 1. The book is printed both sides of the page. It seems that most of the story telling coloring books have similar layout. Even though paper is good quality, it may still cause problem for magic marker or gel pen colorists as color may bleed through and damage the pictures in the back. 2. The binding is very strong but I managed to get the book to lay flat. 3. The book is 9 13/16" x 9 13/16".

This book is beautiful, as a beginner coloring fanatic the pages are almost too beautiful to color 😆😆😄 but I like a challenge so I'll take my time with every page, I don't regret my purchase at all...

I brought this book at full price for my personal collection. I colour purely as a hobby, one that I put an incredible amount of time and effort in to. This is a beautiful book by Daria Song and is the second in her "Time" series, at the time of posting she currently has 3 books available; The Time Garden, The Time Chamber and The Night Voyage. It is approximately 25cm x 25cm. The same as the rest of the books in this series. This book follows the same format as the previous one and contains a small story amongst the illustrations. In this story the fairy hops through the cuckoo clock to the little girls world. As the fairy is so small, even the most mundane human things, like spoons, are amazing to her. All the illustrations relate to this story, as it is a continuous story, almost every illustration is a double page spread and the single page illustrations usually connect in some way to each other. There are 68 pages of illustrations, 8 of which contain a few sentences of the story. All the illustrations are printed double sided, using alcohol markers stains the next page. However I had no problems with gel pens or fineliners. The paper itself is non perforated, on the higher end of medium quality with a slightly textured surface. I used a mix of Marco Raffines and Polychromos for most of the illustrations I've completed and found that i was able to layer and blend with no problems. Almost every illustration either goes in to the spine or sits incredibly close to it. I found the spine to be very tight but the book itself is very bendy and the spine with some careful pushing will sit almost entirely flat. Unlike the previous book there are no suggested "add your own artwork" quotes. There is however a pair of opera glasses where the text indicates you could draw in them to reflect what the fairy sees. "Through her opera glasses the fairy saw.." I own all three of Daria's books and each one is so detailed, intricately beautiful with great paper.
