This melatonin brand helped me so much. Before I started taking this I would only get 1 to 2 hours of sleep each night. Sometimes I would stay up all night and not be able to get any sleep at all. I had a lot of stress at them time and have been on anxiety medicine so that as well didn’t help me sleep. I didn’t know what else to do because I was extremely exhausted everyday. I found this brand and started taking it once every night. I now sleep 6 to 8 hours a day and I feel like I get enough rest each night :). I normally have had insomnia for many years but this has helped tremendously. It dissolves when you take it. The texture kind of reminds me of what chalk would taste like but doesn’t have an after taste at all. Amazing melatonin overall!

Helpful during jet lag

Love this melatonin! It never worked for me before, but I discovered that's because everything else was only available in too high of a dose. 5mg or 10mg or whatever is way too much, and would give me nothing but nightmares all night long. Oh, and I'm 6'2" and 260, so if those are too high of doses for me, they probably are for you too. This 1mg is perfect, and I stack it with magnesium and L-theanine. Take it at the same time every single night, at the same time you dim the lights for the evening. For the first time in my life, I actually have control over when I get tired and go to sleep!

i really don’t know if i’m supposed to let this dissolve in my mouth or if i’m supposed to swallow it whole with water, but it dissolves very fast if you decide to let it sit in your mouth. it’s a little chalky and bitter, but not horribly so. it’s definitely a very convenient size if you wanted to swallow whole instead, though. they’re very small pills. i have a very hard time falling asleep without help; my current regimen is GABA, L-Theanine, lemon balm tincture, and one of these melatonin. all together, they help a lot. everyone’s body chemistry is different so you kind of have to experiment with what works best for you. i am especially grateful for how clean and simple the ingredients are for this melatonin, and you cannot beat the price. i definitely recommend.

I usually wake up at 2-4 am. I would take about 1/4 of a pill and go back to sleep for a few more hours. If I take it before bed, it only works for about 4 hours and Does not make me sleep 7 or 8 hours. If I take more, then I wake up with a headache and foggy brain. I have figured that taking 1/4 of a pill when I wake up too early works the best. But the downside is, as I discovered, short term memory loss. I sometimes struggle to find the word, what makes it worse is that English is not my mother tongue. When I don’t sleep well, I have the same problem. At least with the pill, I not that tired and cranky during the day. Update: I further lowered the dosage to about 1/6- 1/10 of a pill when I woke up typically after 5 hours of sleep. It works great, I usually can fall back to sleep after 10-60 minutes and can sleep for 7 hours in total. The side effect is not noticeable. Hope more people will benefit from my review.
