Great monitor, great service
Bought this monitor back in November. The picture quality is amazing, a monitor of this size, plus ultrawide, plus 144hz, AND it's curved for this price seems like it's too good to be true. But so far I am nothing but impressed. The only bad thing I have to say about it is the quality of the stand, but that's usually the case regardless of the price and it works, it's just a little wobbly.I will say that about 5 months after I bought it, I got a line of dead pixels going across my screen from left to right. This thing has a 3 year warranty on it, though, so I sent it in and a 15 dollar label and a day short of 2 weeks later I received it back in working order. The response time from Viotek support was within an hour each time, and I honestly expected a longer wait period to get it back.So despite the hardware issue I ran into, the service was so solid and quick I decided it wasn't worth docking a point. Take from that what you will, but I consider the RMA experience to be an important part of buying hardware. Of course it's never ideal to have it malfunction in such a way so soon after purchase, but we live in an imperfect world so I figure I can let that slide since the service was so prompt, courteous and painless.

(UPDATED) GNV34DBE Died after 5 weeks. Warranty Experience below - Keep box and original materials.
Original review is below.Quick update. After 1.5 years, the replacement monitor I was sent it still going strong and I still rate 5 stars for the value for the money and customer support I received when I had and issue.--------------------------------Original Review from Apr 2021--------------------------------Short story of my experience with monitor...This monitor died after 5 weeks (4 days past amazon warranty period). If you decide to buy this monitor, buy the extra warranty amazon asks you to buy just to be safe... or know that you are taking a QA risk as I did. After the monitor died, I followed Viotek RMA instructions exactly as written. Support states an RMA number would be assigned usually within 24 hours. That was not the case. No meaningful response of yet.**WARRANTY UPDATE 1**RMA instructions were received within 3 business days (72 hours). On the website Viotek states the consumer is responsible for the shipping costs to them and they would cover return expense. This was not the case for me as they DID cover the $20 shipping cost as well.It has been shipped out via UPS. They have not received it as of yet. Will post the next update once movement has occurred.**WARRANTY UPDATE 2**Received email confirmation within 5 days of shipping that the unit has been received. It is being processed and the message states the time for processing the unit is approximately 5-20 business days depending on the type of return (repair, refund, exchange).**WARRANTY UPDATE 3**No further emails, but UPS showed up and dropped off the monitor 8 days after the confirmation email was received. It was 20 total days for the monitor to die, submit the RMA claim, receive the initial email from bcolab, ship the monitor out, and then receive the repaired unit.Previously there were a few hotspots on the monitor, those are no longer visible so I'm not sure if there was an issue with the power supply going out and causing the issue, but either way, this unit looks amazing. I did need to do some tweaking to get this really performing nicely but if you give yourself 15 minutes of playing with settings you should be pretty pleased with the results. The monitor dying was unfortunate, but I feel the company handled the warranty in a timely manner and this monitors performance at this price point is very good. I changed the 1 star rating (due to dead monitor) back to a 5 star rating.Again, you should really consider purchasing the extended amazon warranty just to save yourself a potential hassle, if i had the option to do it upon receipt of the repaired unit, I would. For the price it would still be a good deal.

Great Monitor so far. Great Value for the money.
Additionally, to provide you perspective on quality of output at a glance, the included Pics of my setup are of a Samsung flat UWHD (top) and the Viotek UWHD (bottom). The color and resolution are comparable. The Viotek was several hundred dollars less expensive then the Samsung. I am on my 3rd month with this monitor and have not had a single issue with it.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This monitor looks fantastic. Color, Refresh Rate, Resolution, and OSD settings. G-Sync Compatibility is flawless with my NVidia 3060 Ti Card for RTS, FPS, and MPORPG.One item that was a little frustrating is the the extender inset screws that come with the monitor to allow you to use a VESA mount. One of the screw's threads were not cut correctly or the thread pitch was not correct and it could not be used in the hole where it was to be screwed in. The screw would not catch at all. Viotek needs to look at the quality right down to each part they send with their monitors.Overall this is a good looking and very functional out of the box monitor. It is about half the price of other big brand names out there but the quality of the monitor itself superbly competes. In the provided pics I have a Samsung stacked on top of the Viotek.

The Truth for the Price
For what you'll pay for it, this monitor is definitely the truth. Includes monitor, stand, and True 144hz performance, decent response time, crisp 2k ultrawide resolution from the Samsung panel featured in a few other popular low-end ultrawides. Freesync works, G-Sync compatibility is kinda iffy (despite my best efforts I could not eliminate flickering) but that may very well just be my setup. HDR works, even though it only eeks out HDR400 certification it truly does make a difference in viewing quality. Very crisp and immersive display, backlighting isn't the most even but isn't terrible; truly only noticeable when the scene is near if not fully black. OSD is kinda rudimentary but it's well functioning which is the important part. Definitely VESA 100x100 compatible, I recommend foregoing the stand and just getting a mount, but the stand is capable all things considered. What lost it the one star? Connections on the rear point down, which necessitates the use of a few right angle adapters to put your cables at a strain-free angle, which in turn renders the cover plate useless. Also I'm not sure what the deal is but the audio out sounds like trash, don't even bother with it.Overall an amazing purchase if you're trying to step into the future on the cheap though.
