Okay if like me you have a nice computer with an average soundcard you also probably suffer from it's just not loud enough syndrome.This is your cure. Pure loud bounce your headphones off your ears there is so much bass now sound that will ring your ears in bliss.I haven't had it very long so can't speak to the battery life but seems durable as all get out, and yes if something would happen to it I'd order another asap. It's a must have for those who love it loud.

got a cheap & cheesy audio source ? (note: if you source is too cheesy, no amount of back end sophistication will save you) a little too lame to power your headphones? or do you need an "active" extension cord. this does the trick in style and for a very reasonable cost. neatly built, works great, sounds fine. I probably could have gotten away with just a cable extension but this was a bit more elegant, and does a respectable job driving my ATH-M50s. build quality is very good.

Use this to power our larger headphones during plane rides. Easily boosts the signal for dual headphones, very clean amplication. You will need to remove battery during long storage periods, drained a few 9v batteries this way. Overall very pleased with the amp

Surprisingly high quality sound from this small amplifier. Works great with my Audio-Technica headphones. The design is unusual, but it does the job well and at a reasonable price. It has rejuvenated an older iPod Nano.

This is an awesome AMP.. pretty much if you have good sound this is all you need. Made me realize how crappy my sound really was. For that matter if you don't have a good source then you will notice it. Other than that its a great amp almost lost the volume nub but a small strip of paper to really make it hold on the inside edge. So far so good worth the money and works nice with my ps4 bluetooth controller to increase the sound.

A bit pricy, but you get what you pay for in this case. Quality components and build.
