This is an excellent kids Bible. My daughter (6) and son (4) enjoy reading one story every day. My daughter is in 1st grade, and she is able to read almost all the words, so this also serves as a great supplemental reading source for school.We use the book and app together. My daughter first reads a section, then we use the app which has a narration. Following that, my kids take turns engaging the app on the iPad. There is an interactive related scene which the kids can poke various items to trigger a response. The kids get very excited and enjoy this activity. There is usually a couple of questions too related to the content. Finally, they can earn stars, diamonds and awards. We have many kid bibles...and each time the kids have not been so interested in bible reading. So far this one has their attention.

I bought this book to give to my grand daughter because she really likes the web version of all the bible stories. So, when this hardback version came out I immediately got on Amazon and ordered it. It wasn't quite ready to be released but as soon as it was, I received it well ahead of the promised delivery time. Now, I can read to hear at bed time without having to have anything electronic.! The artwork and pictures are just like the online version and all the Bible stories are great to teach little children It has refreshed my memory of the Gospels as well. You will love this book, buy one or more and you can share them with all your kids and grand kids. The price is unbelievably low.

I can't give this enough stars!Bright colorful pages with fun, vivid illustrations and large print the kids can follow along. It tells the Bible in a very accurate yet age appropriate way for kids to understand. I can't rave enough about this!Three problems solved for me:1My son would rather watch a movie than have bed time stories--- until this arrived!2 he was uninterested in other versions I've tried--until this one. He won't let me put it down.3 even with children bibles I still struggled to "edit" it into age appropriate terms! -- not with this one. It has opened up discussion with my son and me.It has questions for theParent to ask the kid for a very interactive approach.

I worked at a popular book store... other books as nice as this were just too expensive and still not accurate enough. I found the story book bible to be perfect! Very affordable. The illustrations are great; very colorful and attractive for kids. The font is fairly large and easy to read/understand. The size of the book is just right! The only negative I find is that the corners of the covers are not rounded, so I can't let my baby handle the book too much. And most important for us is that it is the most accurate we've been able to find - it displays the true ethnicity of our savior, Yeshua, and the rest of our ancestors in the stories.

This storybook has been a blessing to our family! We read it each night with our 3 & 2 year old, then have a devotional conversation about what we read and why it's important. We have about 3-4 children's bibles in our collection but this is the only one our children actually want to read. They absolutely LOVE this book. In my opinion this book carefully and accurately portrays the Word of God without compromising too much for the sake of being understandable to young children. My husband and I also GREATLY appreciate seeing diverse illustrations, as children and people of color aren't commonly included in children's picture books. I can't say enough about this book. Wow, so glad that made this. My kid loves the app, and to see a book with the same characters is so cool!Only one problem with it that is common with most Christian books ... you do not ask Jesus into your heart, only believe that he died for your sins! If you ask, that is putting your faith in the fact that you asked. You do not have to ask for something that is already being offered to you for free. ;-)What must I do to be saved? BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ and you WILL BE saved.

A very good way to introduce children to the Bible, my great nephew loves it and reads it to his little brothers. Beautifully illustrated and a good link to the Bible App, with the same characters and illustrations. Suitable for very young children as well as older junior school age children.

I started out using the app with my son and he loves it especially now with all the added features. Naturally this book is also a winner. He loves when I read to him from him and he's already able to paraphrase some of the stories which is brilliant.
