Unger Nifty Nabber Extension Arm with Claw, 51 Inches, Black/Green (NN140)

Excellent value. We use MANY of these in an industrial application, to extract production parts from manufacturing machinery, while maximizing worker safety. They are not indestructible (many last beyond 6 months) but the maneuverability and price point make them an outstanding tool value.

Perfect for use on riding mower, to be able to reach in front of the mower deck and pick up anything in the yard area.

Much of this item is plastic and I am concerned how well it will stand up to the use intended. it is easy to use, of good length to reach the ground from the riding lawn mower and has a claw at the end for better grabbing. Time will tell how it holds up to use.

Customer service was courteous and helpful - delightful. These grabbers are heavy duty. We use them while mowing to pick up items in our path. We live on a ranch, so there are a great many uses and needs for a tool that will stand up to tough use - we have three Thanks so much.

I moved my desk as far as I could into the wall, but there is still a gap of a few inches. It's amazing how so many things can find their way back there and over the edge. I have been using a 36 inch grabber, but the further from the open end of the desk they fells, the more difficult they were to retrieve. This grabber gives me an additional 15 inches reach, and so far that has turned out to be a great improvement. The only thing I will note is the significant jump in price over the other grabbers, but they are the only company that I could find offering this extended length. It is a very good quality device and I am satisfied with the results I am getting.

THIS TOOL ALLOWS YOU ADDITIONAL REACH FOR AKWARD LOCATIONS. I FIND IT PARTICULARLY USEFUL WHEN MOWING ON THE LAWN TRACTOR. IT ALLOWS ME TO PICK UP RANDOM TWIGS AND BRANCHES WITHOUT LEAVING MY DRIVER SEAT. GRIP ACTION IS VERY POWERFUL AND FIRM OPPOSED TO SIMILAR ITEMS WITH RUBBER CUPS. THE OFFSET HEAD DESIGN ACCOMMODATES MOVING ITEMS FROM UPPER SHELVES AND KEEPING THE ITEM VERTICAL TO AVOID SPILLAGE. A LITTLE MORE EXPENSIVE BUT DEFINITELY WORTH THE PRICE!

I suppose you’d call me “vertically challenged”. No I was not 6’ tall so I always had to make do. Now that I am older I find reaching with this grabber is easier than sometimes climbing a ladder for hard to reach items. Sure, I still utilize a ladder when needed but it is better not to drag out the ladder when this grabber will work. It is longer than all the others snd has a longer reach. It will grab small items but sometimes can’t hold all items. None of these grabbers are perfect but this one is probably as good as it gets .

I bought it for dumpster diving. It's grip is not as good as the previous, cheaper one i used to have. I am sure i t would work fine for ordinary house hold uses. Older one had a different type of grip. I can't remember exactly how the grip was different.

A quien no le ha hecho falta alguna vez alcanzar objetos que estaban a una determinada altura y no tenía una escalera a mano? Hace varios meses me compré una de estas pinzas alargadoras...la verdad es que me fue muy bien...hasta que dejo de ir... La mayoría de las pinzas económicas para agarrar objetos distantes que hay en el mercado (prácticamente todas) están diseñadas con dos pequeños engranajes de plástico que tienden a romperse con el uso...y te quedas sin pinza (véase foto)...eso si, hay que reconocer que son mucho más baratas...pero como un día te despistes y aprietes un poquito más de la cuenta o se te caiga al suelo adios pinza...además no se pueden reparar... UNGER, es un fabricante aleman que provee a equipos de limpieza profesionales (recogida de desperdicios) en todo el mundo desde hace mas de 50 años...el mecanismo es completamente metálico, hecho para durar...y disponen de varias medidas (incluyendo la que compré yo de 130cm - la descripción indica 140cm, pero no es correcta- ). Las garras están además forradas de goma, y la parte del mango tiene un orificio para colgarla en la pared...eso si, no son nada baratas...la calidad tiene un precio Pegas? Lo dicho, el precio es alto...pero si la usas cada día la amortizarás...el sistema de accionamiento lo preferiría tipo pistola, pero esto es una preferencia particular, no pega.

Per quel poco che lo abbiamo usato finora si è dimostrato un prodotto all'altezza delle aspettative. Vedremo se la durata giustificherà spesa e valutazione positiva.

Cumple totalmente las expectativas, teníamos dudas sobre la fuerza que podría hacer la pinza y nos ha sorprendido gratamente, realiza perfectamente su funcionalidad. Lo hemos utilizado para recoger del fondo de un tendedor alguna prenda de ropa mojada (toalla) y no hemos tenido problema, además la distancia de alcance nos parece perfecta

Macht einen wertigen und stabilen Eindruck. Die Handhabung ist ebenfalls gelungen. Der Greifer lässt sich sehr gut bedienen und packt auch kräftiger zu, um z. B. Unkraut an schwer erreichbaren Stellen zu entfernen.

Ich benutze die Zange dafür, Laub und andere Gegenstände aus einem Sieb über einem Fallrohr zu fischen, das schwer zugänglich ist. Das klappt überraschend gut, weil die eigentliche Zange sinnvoll geformte Gummibacken hat. Was den fünften Stern gekostet hat, ist die etwas fadenscheinige Verarbeitung des Griffs und der daranhängenden Mechanik hin zu der Zange unten. Vielleicht tue ich dem Ding damit Unrecht und es hält lange, aber ich bin nicht wirklich überzeugt.
