What makes Papa Vince Tumminia Busiate different?

Papa Vince Tumminia Busiate is made from heirloom Sicilian Tumminia wheat, an ancient grain untouched by modern hybridization. It’s non-GMO, non-enriched, stone-ground, bronze-die cut, and slow-dried for authentic texture, flavor, and quality.

What does Tumminia pasta taste like?

Tumminia wheat gives this pasta a naturally nutty, slightly sweet flavor with real depth. It tastes full and balanced—never bland or cardboard-like—allowing both simple olive oil and hearty sauces to shine.

Is this a hearty, satisfying whole-grain pasta?

Yes. Made from 100% whole Tumminia wheat, it’s naturally rich in fiber and protein for a satisfying, steady meal. Crafted without enrichment or additives, it delivers wholesome nourishment the traditional Sicilian way.

Is this pasta enriched or fortified?

No. Our Tumminia pasta is never enriched or fortified. It naturally retains fiber, B vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants thanks to traditional stone milling and slow drying—just as pasta was made in Sicily for generations.

Why does this pasta hold sauce so well?

It’s bronze-die cut, which creates a coarse, porous surface that helps sauces cling to the pasta. Unlike smooth industrial noodles, every bite stays coated for a richer, more satisfying eating experience.
