Into the Pony-Verse
Despite it somehow including Cobra Commander's helmet, the Matrix of Leadership, and a Furbie, Fluttershy's scavenger hunt dissapoints Discord by how easy it was. Granted, the dude can bend reality with a snap of his fingers, so to say he didn't play fair isn't a big surprise. However, Rainbow Dash demands that if Discord can do better, then he should host a scavenger hunt. The creature of chaos takes time to think one up and, years later after the Season 9 finale and everybody's older, Discord returns to start the Scavenger Hunt! The only problem? The trinkets he's tasked the girls with finding are the Elements of Harmony, displaced out of time right before Twilight and her team could defeat Nightmare Moon. This alters reality to where Luna was never reformed, our heroes lost, and Twilight's social skills are a tad off. Making matters worse, Discord hid the gems throughout alternate realities with the strict rule that only the girls can bring them back. So it's a scavenger hunt through the Ponyverse to save their time, each story seeing a member of the Mane Six in an parallel world.First there's Fluttershy, who finds herself in a world where her counterpart a fearless pop star in need of assistance. Turns out she sprained her leg while trying to out-dance this world's Pinkie Pie, now she needs her doppelganger to dance on stage for her. Despite her name having 'shy' at the end of it, Fluttershy's counterpart is soon surprised upon finding out her duplicate is stage shy. Something that's always confused me since she sings alongside her friends all the time on the show, but I digress. A decent story following Fluttershy, though her counterpart can come off as rude a few times.Next there's Rarity, who finds herself in the midst of the most disastrous decade for fashion: the 80s! Everypony is seen wearing neon, leg warmers, zebra print, head bands, hoop earrings, Rainbow Dash even has a sick-looking Mohawk. Rarity is out of her element, made no better by the fact that the only way to get her Element back is by winning a fashion competition, meaning she has to make something super tacky herself. Needless to say, the best part of this story comes from how out of place Rarity feels as well as the artwork, the artist having a bit too much fun designing all of these 80s outfits. They even manage to slip in a Jem and the Holograms reference for all you Jem fans out there.Following this is Pinkie Pie's story, where she's sent to an Equestrian equivalent of Gotham, where Twilight is essentially Batman and Robin is her Spike (spelled with a Y, since poor literacy is kewl), the two having just fallen out similar to when Nightwing left the Batcave. Pinkie helps the two learn how to cooperate again in order to help her retrieve her element from her counterpart, whose essentially this world's Joker. For the record, all of this makes way too much sense. Being the massive comic book nerd that I am, of course this is my favorite story outuv' the bunch. The fact that Tara Strong's character on MLP is now portrayed as her character from the Batman animated series is just too fitting, Spike's super-edgy loner routine is just hilarious, and Pinkie Pie Joker is way too awesome! It kind'a reminds me of the Power Ponies episode back in Season 4, though I have to say that episode was better due to its bigger cast and more memorable antagonist. Still, quite a fun little super-heroic short story. This leads to Rainbow Dash's story, which is the least interesting out of the lot. This reality is essentially no different from the mane one, save for this world having a race track built around a contained black-hole. Personally I think it would've been cool if Rainbow was instead sent to the Equestria Girls world, seeing how she'd interact with her counterpart, having to contend without wings, even seeing how the Element of Loyalty would react to this world as apposed to the Element of Magic. Ah well, moving on.Applejack finds herself on the Apple Family Farm, only now the Apple family is now a ninja clan, with her Element in the hands of a rival. Any anime or manga fan should get a kick out of this, since the first page of this story alone has Spikezilla fighting what I assume to be the Equestrian equivalent of Ultraman. Uh, Ultramare in this case. There's lots of references to DragonBall, Naruto, even Jojo gets some love when it's revealed the Apple Clan's rival is essentially Dio. You thought it was the Flim Flam Brothers who stole all your apples, but it was I, DIO! This story is just way too funny, plus it makes for a nice follow-up to the story from back in Volume 1 where Discord altered reality to be more like a manga. If these means we get to see that ultra-boss Pony Zord again, then please tell more stories in this reality! Finally there's Twilight's story, which is essentially a love letter to Generation 1 of MLP, since that's the reality our purple protagonist finds herself in. Taking place during the events of the movie (I think, I've never actually seen it), Twilight discovers that world's Tirek has gotten his hands on the Element of Magic, using it to turn other mares into his minions of darkness. Determined to stop another dystopia, as well as save this world's Spike, Twilight teams up with this world's happy horse residents to stop the tyrannical demon. After reading this, I'm honestly kinda sad we never got this as an animated movie or special, even if I'm not a huge fan of any prior incarnation of My Little Pony. Seeing how Twilight reacts to familiar faces in this world is adorable and I can assume it could've been even better if she had her memories from the original timeline. I'm so curious what her reaction to 80s Tirek would be. Overall this is a sweet sentiment from a sweet story that leads us to our conclusion, where the girls make it back to their own timeline to defeat Nightmare Moon, although now with some help from the Pony-Verse. Heck, the story even ends referencing Pony Life of all things. If you're a fan of alternate reality stories, My Little Pony, mangas, comics, or just really fun stories, then this is the comic for you!

A Flawless Capstone
The MLP Manga has been a very good series from front to back, and this (possibly concluding) volume really brought all the best aspects together. Timely references, good writing, clean humor, lots of subtle bonus jokes, and a general and obvious love for the characters and the setting. We get a bevy of guest appearances from all sorts of characters, including a wrap-up bit for the manga's one notable original character. There's even a few blasts from the (very) distant past. All in all, I accidentally bought two copies of this and it was STILL worth the asking price. :V

Awesome
This comic is amazing, I really love seeing MLP in manga style and it's a nice way to remain connected with the ponies, since the show unfortunately ended.

Cute and funny manga
Its a really cute and funny manga, you should definitely read it :) Its really thin and you have to read it from left to right (you actually read mangas from right to left), so that's 4/5 stars from me.
