Grat kit and obtains all the tools one needs to clean any weapon. It could use a little bottle of cleaning solution and little bottle of lubricant.

Neat kit
I gave these kits to my nephews for Christmas and they are very nice little starter kits. I would recommend them to other members.

Good, but not as advertised (Not BRASS rods)
I got the kick very quickly, so that was good. It is still going to be useful, but the rods were made of aluminum not brass. I rated so low because for me the brass was the selling point. Still a good product though

Rods are not really well made, but overall, it does the job.

Want to damage the bore in your >$1,000 rifle??, then use this to clean it!
The road to hell is paved with good intentions..... the intent I'm sure for Remington, was to put out a quality product, but fails miserably in quality. Poor machining on the thread connections where you join the rods together. makes a rod that is not straight and ends up scraping the edges where the parts join against the lands and grooves in your barrel. Avoid like the plague! Not what I want to use on my rifle! The fact that this kit has the Remington name on it speaks volumes about the Reputation of Remington as a firearms manufacture in general to me. Not sure that I would be willing to trust their name again!
