At first I was hesitant from reading the other reviews - I wanted a paper masking tape that I could use when laser cutting woods so that I wouldn't have to spend so much time manually cleaning up scorch marks and smoke discoloration. Some of the other reviews mention that this tape did not stick to their project, and at first I had the same problem but quickly realized that it was user error on my part. The key for me was making sure to burnish this tape down to my project board really well, and even wrap it around the edges if possible. Once I started putting the few extra minutes into making sure that the tape was firmly pressed to the board in all areas (don't rush this step!), I have since had no issues with the tape lifting while cutting. This tape was EXACTLY the solution that I was looking for and I will not be hesitating to purchase again. I love how clean and crisp my laser projects come out now, and I spend only a fraction of the time on cleaning up the project after the cut is complete.

My use case is masking plywood for laser cutting and engraving. The price of the masking tape I had been using had gone up by more than 50% since the last time I purchased it eight months ago, so I began looking for alternatives. This transfer tape performed the desired function: It prevented scorching. Bonus: The transfer tape adhesive is not as strong as that on the masking tape, so removal was much easier and it didn't pull up wood fibers like the masking tape did. Some product reviews mentioned that the transfer tape would lift after application. I used a veneer scraper to press the transfer tape in place after I applied it, and that worked for me. I applied the transfer tape a week before I did the laser cutting/engraving, and it stayed in place, without peeling or lifting, the entire time. I was leery after reading all the reviews that mentioned that the transfer tape ripped easily and was hard to remove from the roll. I experienced neither of those problems whatsoever over the approximately 25-30 square feet I used. Maybe I was lucky and got a good batch. For now, this transfer tape will be my go-to product for laser cutter masking.

The tape does not peel off correctly at all. I haven’t even been able to use it since I opened the package because it won’t separate the way it’s supposed to. Very frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend it.

I bought two rolls of transfer tape. One roll of 6” x 100 foot roll and one roll of 12” x 100 foot roll. I used the 12 x 100 foot roll and it was peeling the bottom layer with the top layer. I tried to get it off the roll so only one layer would roll off. It worked a little then started to do it again. I called customer support and told them I was having problems with there transfer tape and They said they knew Amazon has some bad rolls still. They told me to send them a copy of my Amazon order and they would send me a replacement. I got the replacements today. Haven’t used them yet. So will see how they work. But for a company to stand behind there product like they do. I will keep using there product: That’s the reason for 5 stars. It’s the only transfer tape I use for my vinyl due to the fact the it’s easier for customers to use when putting on there vinyl decals. I have tried others but always come back to TapemanBlue transfer paper. Thanks for such good support on your product.

The paper works great for what we need it for. Why 4 stars instead of 5? Because it is so thin that it tends to rip and can be difficult when getting off the roll.

This is absolutely the worst transfer tape I’ve ever used does not peel off of the roll. Evenly would definitely not buy this product again. so far, I’ve tried to use several feet of it and it’s been exactly the same on every bit of it. this is an extension of my previous review. The company did make it good and sent me a new role although it did take several weeks. Meanwhile, I had to purchase transfer tape from another company because I needed it still an overall bad experience.

No jala bien el Vinil y no pega bien, muy mal producto.

This tape would not even pick up dust (I tried!), let alone the craft vinyl I purchased it for. Not worth the money at all, and because I took the cellophane off in order to try the product, it cannot be returned, even though it doesn't do the job its intended to do.
