Nice Tiedowns. Installation went well
Other reviewers reported broken screws and trouble mounting the tie-down brackets. Whether the screws have been improved or I just took a bit more care not to break a screw, I don't know. But I had no issues and all 16 screws are firmly planted and the four tiedowns are securely mounted after about a 20-minute effort. I watched a few YouTubes for tips on how not to break a screw, so I used a dab of petroleum jelly each time I tapped a hole for a bit a lubrication. My packet came with two extra screws, so I used one to tap all 16 holes. I set the drill clutch on its highest setting so I'd still get almost all my drill's torque but not so much that I might break a screw. I am very happy with these tiedowns. They do have some plastic parts, which may be an issue if left in the weather for a couple years. Under the topper I expect these tiedowns to last as long as I own the truck.

Easy to Install
After reading many reviews about this product, I was concerned about breaking the self-tapping bolts as I screwed them in. But I watched a video and it recommended using a lubricant on the screw when you put it in for the first time. I used regular automobile grease. Also, I used the same screw, lubed each time, to tap each hole. Once I had all the holes tapped, then I screwed on the tie down body. The whole procedure took about 20 minutes and I had no issues with the self-tapping screws. In fact, they went in pretty easy. Maybe grease or lube is the key?

Installation Was Difficult Only Because of the Drop-in Bed Liner
I have a 2017 Ford F150 with a factory plastic drop-in bed liner. If it wasn’t for the bed liner the installation would have been a breeze. Unfortunately, the bed liner cut-outs for each of the four mounting areas were partially covering some of the screw holes for the tie-down brackets. As such, I was not able to install the bracket screws without enlarging a couple of the cut-outs. If you don't have a drop-in bed liner the installation should be pretty easy.To enlarge the cut-outs, I used a small sanding barrel chucked into my cordless drill. I was able to maintain a fairly straight line when enlarging the opening, so it is not really noticeable. Once I got the cut-out openings enlarged I was able to get the bracket screws positioned properly so I could get them tapped and installed. The product photos show the installer using an impact gun to drive in the provided self-tapping 6mm – 1.0 screws. I don’t recommend using an impact gun for the simple reason that too much torque can cause the screws to break which was reported by several reviewers. Instead, I used my 20v Stanley drill driver set on the highest torque setting. Coating the screw threads with oil and maintaining firm pressure on the drill, I was able to easily install each self-tapping screw. I recommend using the slowest speed on the drill and frequently reversing it until the screw has fully cut the threads. Reversing the drill will help to flush out the metal chips the self-tapping screws create. Using oil and a forward-reverse method resulted in a perfectly threaded hole with no breakage. The last thing you want is to have a screw break and then spend the next 30 minutes trying to get it out.I also don’t recommend using one screw to tap all the holes as the threads will eventually wear down. Plus, using one screw will fatigue it after awhile which increases the chance of breaking. I never used the same screw twice. If you have a 6mm -1.0 tap set, you might use that to cut all the threads. As for the quality of the tie-downs; there are some plastic parts which may affect the overall longevity. There is also a little bit of play in the tie-down. I don’t plan to put a lot of strain on them, so it shouldn’t be an issue. Each tie-down comes with two keys for a total of eight. Not sure why I would need eight keys as one key locks/unlocks each tie-down.Overall, I like the quality, but time will tell how durable they are.

Great fit - highly recommended!
Thanks for previous reviews, the installation took less than an hour. If you have a removable liner, you'll want to remove it if possible. I used petroleum jelly to guide the screws the first time, then backed them out when I installed the plates. It took less than an hour to remove my liner, install the tie downs, and put my liner back in. Take your time. I highly recommend this product.

F350 bed hooks
Installed these in a 2020 F350 Superduty. Ford factory one's are pricey compared to these. Only reason for 4 star rating is the screws that come with it are not great. I recommend using one of the screws to create the threads on the bed of the truck and then utilize the remaining screws to attach to the bed of the truck.

Fits perfectly. Everything in the box.
Went in smoothly. Bolts fit the truck perfectly. The necessary drive bit for my drill was in the package. The nuts that are part if the F150 bed are painted inside, so it takes a little bit of pushing to get the bolts threaded in.But. This worked flawlessly.

What do you expect...It's Chinese!
1) First off, I read the seller's description. The tie downs are rated at 1000 lbs. In reality, that is a 1000 pound rated plastic container filled with puffed rice. The guts of these things are plastic. The only way they're going to hold a 1000 pounds is sitting on the ground attached to the tie down, without ever moving. If it was an engine block sitting in the back of your pickup, they would explode at the first stoplight. Although, my primary cargo manifest is usually a cooler of beer, a chainsaw and a couple of lawn chairs, so I'll accept this possible shortcoming.2) Secondly, I read the other reviews. Consequently, I didn't use the supplied 5mm self tapping bolts that break off. I drove to my neighborhood Ace Hardware and purchased sixteen 1/4"-20X1"stainless steel Allen head machine screws. I also bought a machine tap because the truck bed holes are not threaded. I went with 1/4"-20 instead of 5mm because SAE screws are half the price of metric. I stuck the tap in my impact drill and t took me two taps to get all 16 holes. (Use a light oil with each hole, go slow and back it off frequently to clean the tap) Good thing I bought a three pack from Amazon. In a nut shell, these are simply another Chinese product manufactured to resemble another product of superior quality BUT that other product is also 5-6 times the cost. You weigh it out and decide yourself.
