Stable Smarts: Sensible Advice, Quick Fixes, and Time-tested Wisdom from an Idaho Horsewoman

I highly recommend this book to anyone who is a "new" horseperson trying to find practical answers or solutions to vexing problems that can present themselves to horse owners. In reading the book, it becomes very evident that each chapter is filled with usefull information that the author has, indeed, gleaned from her lifetime of being a horsewoman. The extent and scope of the topics presented is very extensive. Many of the recommendations or suggestions given in the book illustrate how a problem can be solved with a creative, low-cost solution. The author's down-to-earth writing style makes this book an easy read as well as a handy reference guide.

Cherry Hill is an amazing resource to anyone with equines. This book is a perfect wealth of knowledge, in easy to read (and find) format. I would recommend this to anyone with equines (and have even bought copies for other owners, as gifts!)

Stable Smarts is an fun and useful book. It has tons of easy stable fixes. I've used a number and they have all worked. The best part is that the fixes are inexpensive and safe. I think this book is a must for any horse or any farm animal owner.

Wow..nice to know that someone will actually share their ideas. Amazing all the things you can do w/ a disposable diaper. She is an incredible woman; I wish I could spend a summer with her. Thank you Heather for sharing your ideas w/ the rest of us. I am constantly picking up your book time and time again.
