Academy books... I'm super over them...UNTIL THIS ONE!Holy cow. I was addicted from chapter 1. It was explosive and fresh, something new that I haven't see before. And the cast of characters are so much fun! I'm partial to Ruby Ricin, she's a spitfire pixie who doesn't take crap from anyone. I'm a huge fan of supporting characters and all of them in this book are my faves. Even the "resident mean girl"! She was a character I truly enjoyed hating.I can't wait to see more of the Everwilde world in the upcoming books and to see what Summer decides to do with all the revelations that happen at the end of this book. I wont spoil it for you, but there were some super huge plot twists and I loved them!Ms. Grey could write a dictionary and I would read it because she's just that good.

This one was recommended to me and it was a perfect fit. I really enjoy YA paranormal books and this one just captured my attention.There's a cruel prince, a wildcat that needs some training and a magical world that crashed into ours. What's not to love? I will admit to seeing through the Winter Prince and his icy expression. I was pretty sure I knew what would happen when he caught Summer stealing his apples. Didn't matter. I just enjoyed the journey.Summer is this wildcat that tries to feed her family by any means possible, including stealing apples from the Fae land beyond the shimmer. Her mouth gets her in a lot of trouble but her heart saves her just as often. Despite having everything stacked against her, she manages to make it to Evermore Academy. I liked her. She cares deeply and works hard. That helps her make some critical friends and survive.The Winter Prince is hiding things. Yeah, I knew that. As the story goes on, I figured out more of what he was hiding. I'd never really call these two enemies, though he tries very hard to be in that role. But he cares too deeply too. It shows and I really liked that.The story has an almost dystopian feel to it with a side of Fae. They "crashed" into the western side of the US and decided to stay. Those human that survived their "magical disaster" of an arrival were barely surviving. Those human on the eastern side of the US thought it was awesome to be friends with the snooty Fae. Talk about issues. This society has some. It's a great backdrop to a story of magic and fate. I really enjoyed it.I devoured the first half, and then slowed my reading way down. Not because I wasn't still enjoying it but because I was. And book 2 comes out very soon. I was trying to make it last. That didn't happen and now I'm waiting just like everyone else is.

ahhh where to begin with this well for starters i seen this academy genre grow well out of proportions as of late with book being different yes but sharing well a great many similarities in between them all atleast to me nods but as with all of her works audrey greys newest novel and her foray into the overblown and out of proportionate genre has done what shes done with her other works kicked ass and taken the genres to new levels with her writing which carries in immense depth and growth and character and plot development so nods while i was hesitant going in i was shocked awed and amazed when i came out of the book evermore academy is another of her takes on the fae and there complexities and society Summer is an amazing character and protagonist and she kicks arse too and even begins to thaw the winter prince and theres much more to him then meets the eye as well so nods overall i devoured my way hungrilly through the book from start to finish and already looking forward to the next one Audrey Grey you have true talent for words and im glad i found your books keep up the fantastic work

Holy Fae, this book was amazing! I was so hesitant about it at first because I am tired of seeing Academy series everywhere and they have become so repetitive. However, this was such a fresh take with an even steamier romance that will make you wish you could cool off afterwards in this Winter Wonderland.I am dying for the rest of this series and am having some serious withdrawals. This was one of those books that the closer that I got to the end, the more panicky I got because I did not want it to end. I never wanted to leave this world! Every thing I have read from this author is amazing, but this one may seriously be my absolute favorite.

Loved this story it has a stubborn kick ass lead and a mysterious alpha douche of a guy. Fantastic world building and side characters. Lots of mystery and action to keep you flying through the pages. Looking forward to reading second book. xxxx

What a journey... Ive laughed and cried and felt summers anger and shock through the whole book. I love this series already and can't wait for year two now!

If yI like fantasy books this is definitely the one for you ! Lovely storyline a bit predictable but lovely nonetheless I can’t wait for book two 😊

DEVASTED to find out about a fantastic book when it's actually released, how am I supposed to cope waiting now!Funny and loveable main character, love interest who has immediately become my only type all none fae please step aside and a world you can easily get lost in without feeling lost. I literally can't wait for the next one, give it to me now PLEASE
