To the people who are mad that it doesn't come with the end cap, the cap literally says "do not discard" in multiple languages on it so that is on you. Suction appears to be like new, arrived undamaged and fit right on with no fuss. Since Shop-Vac no longer exists as a brand these kind of replacement parts are going to be worth their weight in gold going forward. I just wish someone offered a washable, HIPA type filter.

My shop vac is very happy. This filter was easy to install and I can tell a difference in the air around the vacuum...it's very good.

I had a heckuva time installing this. The filter’s rubber rings are just slightly too small. While I heard others complain about this, and some were cutting it larger with a knife, I gave it a little Vaseline and voilà it slipped right into place. It’s still took a bit of muscle to twist the entire assembly clockwise to lock it in, but I got it, and it looks to be fine. I’m getting plenty of suction through this new filter, unlike what someone else had written. So now I’m very pleased with the purchase, but yes, it was a bit of a struggle getting it installed, and I’m sure buying the original brand would be a much easier experience.

Cleaned my wall vacuum inside and out, then installed the new filter. Works like it is was just taken out of box.

I kept trying to put the filter on and then put the filter holder on, with no luck. I backed up and punted. I pulled the filter off, inserted the filter holder into the filter, the I put them on as 1 unit, worked great.

I'm g look glad it fit properly and I'll be getting more to have on hand.

The specs and appearance gave me the impression of a proper fit (90398), but it wasn’t. The circumference fits tight enough that it might stay put over use, But I wasn’t satisfied that the retainer cap didn’t screw tight. I confirmed the misfitment when I purchased a better deal that was 2 filters for about two dollars more, that fit perfectly. Glad I tried. Height of 5” is approximate, a fraction was the difference. The retainer cap screws the filter tight and properly with the 2 pack purchase from Brand: “YOUR”.

This was a bit of a snug fit and took a little extra effort to fit in place but the shop vac works great with it. I didn’t have to modify it to get it to fit, just had to put a bit of muscle into getting it in place but it’s good. Good price and quick delivery.

Mi aspiradora volvió a la vida. Difícil de encontrar el repuesto correcto.
