Worked for our Dyson
This is perfect and affordable for the Dyson cool/heat fan. The original remote is $90 or more and we lost it so bought this to try and works perfect!

item controls what needs to. it is different than the original remote in size and function. takes a bit of adjustment to get use to finding things and how to operate(mainly the heat temp and cool adjustment) . a few buttons do not do anything but has the primary functions working, heat, cold, oscillate.

Remote control stopped working after just a few months of usage
Remote control was working fine out of the box, however, it stopped working about 3-4 months after the purchase. I can see that it lights up so it looks like it just loose its config or something else. I saw another comment with the same problem.If they provide instruction to fix it then that would be best for everyone and I can also fix my review since this is my only complain, it's unacceptable to buy a remote that only lasts a few 3-4 months. Be careful

Feels a bit flimsy but works!
My original Dyson remote was making batteries go out after a week or two. I never understood why. So I bought this. I really like that it uses AAA batteries instead of cell batteries. It seems a little flimsy but works well for the Dyson AM09. I considered giving it 4 stars but ultimately decided to go it 5 because it works perfectly. I might actually like this better than the original because it's more difficult to misplace and fits in my hand well.Also wanted to mention that the fan speed buttons placement is a bit weird. But that doesn't matter to me.Case in point, very good replacement to the original Dyson AM09 remote. I wish they put the full controls on the AM09 fan like my AM05 has.

all I had to do was add batteries
I went with this one because I didn't have any of the coin batteries laying around for the other models. Didn't have to program it or anything either. As easy as plug and play. Highly recommend to those who lost the tiny original remotes.

Works, but not 100%
Works well for the most part. The controls on mine are not intuitive - I press the left side of the ring thinking the air flow should decreases and instead it increases. I have to press right to decrease air flow. I change the filter on my fan and this would not allow me to reset the filter time, so it still tells me I need a new filter. I can live with both of those quirks.
