Hy-Tape Pink Tape, 1/2" X 5 Yards (Pack of 3), 5Lf - Pink Medical Waterproof Surgical Tape

This is a redo of my last review of this product, because I received it yesterday (I reviewed it before thinking it wouldn't be delivered).The product is as described in the listing. It was wrapped securely & came in good shape. I am satisfied with the product & this company.

This is great tape for wounds. It’s really good adhesive. It’s waterproof. While it’s not cheap it’s a good value

It came melted and can not be used. The company also appears to have changed their packaging making it difficult to use. I use to love this tape and purchased it frequently for medical reasons. I wish they did not change there packaging and it didn’t melt on shipping.

5 yards is not as much as you would think, but the tape works very well and I was not disappointed at all.

I've been using this tape over a 5" inch scar from reconstructive knee surgery for the last 3 months. It's main purpose was to BLOCK OUT THE SUN and keep my scar from turning purple (which my Dr. warned could happen with sun exposure). The zinc oxide interior lining to the tape is doing just that. I've been wearing May-July and so far my scar is healing great and remains pink fleshy color.EVEN MORE - the tape DOESN'T HURT TO REMOVE or apply, yet it's WATERPROOF (doesn't lose an of its stickiness when submerged)! I don't know who created it, but those two factors combined in one product seems like magic to me. Finally, I'm also shocked at how it adheres with movement. My scar is right over my knee, where I'm flexing and bending all day. Yet, tape stays put. RECOMMENDATION - pull tape pretty taut when applying. Although this thins out the materials a little, it creates a better, more precise stick and then the tape doesn't bunch up as much. The bunching is natural though for areas where you're moving often. Thank you to whoever created this. I'm blown away this isn't more widely known.

I have previously ordered this tape several times in the past. Always in a box and ready to use. This time all 3 rolls were in a plastic zip lock bag. The tape was melted and squished so bad, I was not able to even use it. I am returning it as it is useless now. I really like the tape for.what I use it for but the packaging sucks, I also ordered it in cold weather so there should be no reason for the melting. I plan to reorder it one more time but if it arrives melted and squished I will never order from this supplier again

I used this to cover a recent scar while on vacation. Very strong adhesive. It didn’t even fall off while scuba diving. I slowly removed in the shower and wasn’t painful.

I honestly did not believe that a product could live up to these claims, but I have not been disappointed. I have very sensitive, eczema prone skin and I can't use regular bandages without a lot of itching and irritation. I'm no professional so I don't do a great job making my own dressings, but a bit of gauze and this tape does the trick without any of the irritation I'm used to with anything adhesive.
