Easy to set up
I purchased the four channel EZVIZ NVR along with two EZVIZ C3W cameras. The NVR was easy to set up. Just run an ethernet cable from the NVR to the LAN port on your router, and an HDMI cable from the NVR to your monitor. Attach the supplied wired mouse to the USB port on the NVR, and attach the supplied power cord to the NVR. Power up the NVR and monitor and follow the startup wizard that will appear on the monitor. Although the NVR supports up to four cameras, it has no ports for camera ethernet cables. This is not an issue if you elect to run multiple cameras wireless. If you choose to run the cameras via ethernet cables you will need to run the cameras through a hub. Simply connect a hub to your router's LAN port via an ethernet cable. Then, connect up to four cameras to the hub via ethernet cables. Once the cameras are operational the NVR will allow you to adjust the camera's image settings, choose to record 24/7 or only when motion is detected, adjust the motion detection sensitivity settings, access the playback feature, and save images. This is all done with the mouse and monitor. The four channel NVR will also allow the option to view up to four camera feeds simultaneously on the monitor.
