My question is: is the 2.0% retinol the first ingredient listed; if not, how far down in ingredients is it?

Dear Jane: Retinol 2% is the first ingredient listed. I am very picky abut this kind of products and I always check for the accuracy. This really works, it gives you a clean glow and reduce your skin pigmentation. I have chronic melasma and this works like a charm

I don't know about the SkinCeuticals, but the strongest OTC Retinol from Amazon was awesome!...I am currently out but intend on getting more...I love this stuff...delivery was great too...But as for comparison I do not know, I can't help you w/ that..

Hello, this is Nanci from NCN Professional SkinCare. I'm the CEO and founder. Our All-Trans Retinol 2.0% does have 2% pure retinol that is encapsulated in liposomes. It also has Pro Vitamin A as a single retinol ingredient. We have two formulas available, Formula I and Formula II. They are the exact same formulas with the exception of Formula II, which has 3x the amount of Pro Vitamin A in it. You need to start out using this one (Formula I) and complete an entire 2.5 oz. bottle before moving up to our Formula II. Thank you for asking!
