Great quality, great fit!
This fits perfectly in fact couldn't be better, on the stock back rack on my 2024 Kawasaki versys 300. I've only started just using it had one ride, with a water bottle in my lunch first aid kit and some other gear and it works perfectly. It appears that it's going to be waterproof very stable The value for money beats other brands that design is excellent accessibility is perfect the ease of installation is great and the expandability is wonderful.

Solid products and a solid company
Leaving a review because Nelson Rigg stands by their warranty. Customer service was easy and professional for a different bag. This bag is just the right size for a 690/700/701. I have the bigger one (Adventure) on my 1290. All of their products have been good and durable. The warranty issue was partly my fault.

Great Product
I've tried a few different brands of tail bags and they were all junk. This was my last chance and I was so surprised at the great quality; it far exceeds my expectations! I got the medium size because it can expand if I need extra space, and it's not too big and ugly. It fits super tight and secure on the rack I added to my Honda CRF 300L. It's the same size as the rack with no over hang. I can remove it if I need to add a milk crate for box deliveries, but really, it can stay on all the time. It has D-rings on the sides so you can bungy stuff on top of it, and it has Molly Web for more ways to safely secure things, like extra fuel. It holds plenty of stuff for a day ride; water, snacks, sun glasses, hat, ham radio walkie-talkie, etc. Very well made, perfect for me, your mileage may vary but you can't be disappointed by the build quality.

Tail VS Tank mount
Wanted a tank bag, ended up with a tail bag. I was using a magnetic tank bag on my previous 2 bilkes. When I bought my current bike, the tank is just a plastic cover so the magnetic mounts wouldn't work. Loved the convenience of the tank bag so much that I mounted powerful magnets under the plastic tank cover to still be able to utilize my magnetic tank bag. It worked, but there was just not enough holding power, and at higher speeds, I would find the bag in my lap. The only other options for a tank bag was to go with the strap-on or go with a filler cap ring that the bag would mount to. These alternate options were ugly, in the case of the straps, and the bag was up too high with the ring mount. So I opted for the tail bag. Face it, you aren't looking through your tank bag when you're riding, usually do this when stopped - atleast I do. After riding without the tank bag and now with a tail bag, I have found out how much the tank bag was getting in the way. Slow speed riding, for example, allows for full lock without your arms conflicting with the tank bag. And overall, just less clutter in front of you. I mounted the tail bag around and under the back of the seat. You'd have to cut it off to steal it. The zippers for the compartment come together where you can put on a small lock. The item is very well built and the zippers work very nicely and has held up a year so far without issue. Very pleased with the outcome - wish I would have tried going this route sooner.

Well made
Perfect for my Honda Fury with the short sissy and rider seat. Expands to hold quite a bit. Straps, zippers, and handle are tough and well made. Don’t believe it’s waterproof but haven’t been in the rain yet. Nice bag and looks like it belongs on my fury.

Excellent tailbag
I just wanted something to hold the essentials for day trips (wallet, water bottle, snacks, a few tools, etc) without being too bulky. At first I ordered the Lite version and I knew immediately when it arrived it was too small for my purposes. My water bottle barely fit, and the bag would have been full quickly. I exchanged it for the Dual Sport version, and the size is perfect. It holds everything I need for a day trip when it is not expanded, and if I expand it I can fit more gear for trail riding or extra clothes. The quality of the bag is excellent. Very sturdy, and mounts security to my rear rack. I was bummed the Trails End bag doesn’t come with a quick release and almost bought something else as a result, but honestly putting it on or taking it off takes a minute or two. No big deal. This bag is exactly what I was looking for.

The Existential Hauler
Strap this beast to your bike and suddenly you’re not just going for a ride—you’re embarking on a purpose. Holds everything I need: a knife (or three), a survival ration (read: sardines), a Pilot V5 pen, spare socks, a tarp, emotional baggage, and the lingering echo of my former self. Built tough. Water-resistant. Holds up to Canadian backroads, existential dread, and one really poorly executed creek crossing that I swear looked doable until it wasn't. Bonus feature: functions as a mobile memory vault. Every time I unzip it, I half expect to find a monologue I forgot I wrote, a marten skull, and a hand-written map to a cache I buried after a particularly intense Leonard Cohen binge. Only downside? Doesn’t come with a button that says “This is not a phase.” I made one myself. Final verdict: It’s not just a tail bag. It’s a wound kit for the soul. 10/10. Would flee civilization with again.

Well made, expandable, perfect for a day outing
Very well made. The right size for a smaller bike. Perfect on the tail rack of my Honda CRF300 Rally.

Quality
The first thing you will notice is the quality of the bag and the real zippers used! Unlike the cheap bags that all seem to have the same complaint about the zippers failing!
