Osprey Kamber 16 Men's Ski Backpack , Ripcord Red , One Size, O/S

This is a great skiing pack for inbounds, that is until the drinking tube zipper broke. I was skiing yesterday and when I tried to take my first drink I found I couldn't unzip it. When I got home my wife and I tried again with the pack off and each of us pulling on it. Amazon says call Osprey. Osprey says if I bought it from Amazon I need to return it to Amazon. They also said if I can't return it, I can send it to them for repairs. I have 4 Osprey packs, and I clearly like their products, but this sucks to the point where I'm wishing I had bought it from REI. End of story.It is now Mar 12, and after some initial confusion about who I should be dealing with I called the Customer Satisfaction Number on Osprey's website. When they heard all the details, instead of having me send my pack back for repair, they upgraded it to the Kamber 22 and sent it out to me the next day. They also paid to ship the defective pack back. This is the way reputable companies do business. Thank you Osprey!

I purchased for use while skiing. I only ski lift serviced areas (no back country). Love the product. Only caveat is that I wish I purchased a larger size (22/32L). The reason is that on warm ski days, I put my midlayer inside, which fits fine, but my girlfriend also wants me to carry her midlayer and there is not space for both her and my gear. I carry protein bars, water carrier, flask, keys, basic tools, external battery... all fit well until it gets warm and you start to pack in layers of clothing. So consider if you are carrying gear just for yourself, or for yourself and someone else. If it's just you and you only ski resort, this is the right size. For anything more than that, consider the larger versions.

This pack isn't too bulky, so it doesn't push me too far out of the chairlift, which my old pack did (though, of course, that reduces the storage capacity). It's very well designed, with a good array of conveniently located organizing pockets, snow-shedding back panel and straps, and a dedicated soft pouch for a different goggles lens. I really like the feature that allows me to easily thread my drinking tube inside the insulated right shoulder strap, which keeps the tube from freezing and flapping around. (The primary reason I carry a pack is to have water readily available to keep me hydrated.) I'm very happy with this purchase.

Perfect size for resort skiing. It’s got just the right amount of room for hydration, camera/accessories, some snacks, goggles, extra layer & more. Great combo of size & functionality. Also comfortable riding the lift while wearing, which is really convenient.

This was a gift for my adult son who is both a runner and hiker. He loves it, including the color which was recommended by my granddaughter.

Just perfect for frontside skiiing in the era of COVID. I can even carry low-profile shoes so that I don't have to boot up at the car!

Sits high on the back, which is great for sitting on the chair lifts. Enough for everything I need for a day of skiing and not having to stop back at lodge. I carry, sandwich, energy bar and extra goggles in the pack.

Love this bag. It's perfect for a day on the mtn. Whether your staying on the front or doing some light hiking up ridges or off trail this pack is perfect. Can fit a full tank of water, plus a 6 pack with some snacks!
