Fits Dyson Ball Allergy. It was slightly shorter than the existing part that tore at the base, but that may be due to stretching of the old part. The old part was easy to remove by squeezing the clip w/ my thumb and pushing up from the bottom while in floor vacuuming mode. The new part was easy to install. After a month there has been no issues.

So in June 2017 I bought a refurbished Dyson from Amazon. What I didn't know is why I had so many issues with the hose, it never occured to me that maybe it was replaced with the wrong one. I always struggled to put the hose in AND have the want part put back in place properly it was such a pain.Fast forward to October 2024. I notice that the suction on my hose is terrible when trying to get things but it works fine on my hand. Then I discovered it. The hose had split near the top of the handle and the split was half way around the hose so now things are making perfect sense. It worked on my hand well because the hose wasn't extended. I was fearful this was going to be a costly fix but I was pleasantly surprised.I found this hose AND I could afford it! I read reviews on others but decided to go with this as it stated it was a legit Dyson product and not a generic knock off. I'm not sure how accurate that was but I bit because I love my vacuum and I also like to vacuum and couldn't be without one for long as I have plants and pets.I had already removed my old house prior to the arrival of this one. At first I couldn't get it on but once it snapped in place my worries began to melt away. I was slightly concerned at the bend in the hose from how it was packaged and shipped but that ended up being a non-issue.After popping it onto my Dyson and sliding my wand in place I was EASILY able to place everything where it belonged. My mind was blown. I no longer had an issue with the wand going into the hose and all of it being put into place on the body of the machine. I no longer had the struggle with this hose as i had my last one and that alone is worth it. I often times had just left the wand out and on the floor because it was such a hassle to fight with it all the time.I've had it for nearly 2 weeks now and every time I go to vacuum and pull the hose out to use attachments I am pleasantly surprised because the ease of use is 10x better than it's been for YEARS. I am thrilled!The button on it is a different shape than I'm used to but aside from that it's really a great fit.

The part fit perfectly and was easy to install. This was made by Dyson but $8 cheaper than what it was on the Dyson website.The vendor was great. The item arrived in a day when the estimated delivery was four days ahead of the estimated delivery date.

I tried taping the hose over the tears but it didn't work and one day it tore in half. After watching YouTube videos on how to remove it to replace it it all worked great and now I have the vacuum back!

Fit perfectly, works well. The shipping box was smashed, torn open and I was surprised the hose didn’t fall out. I would suggest using mailing tape on your boxes. Also the shipping was slow but I have a feeling it was more on the USPS side and not the shippers.

Im on my third hose, 1st was the one that came with the vacuum, 2nd and 3rd from here. All three have had the same oroblem where the connector get detached from the hose. This last one I purchased in July and had barely used it and now Oct 3rd I'm going to need a 4th one. If you're going to spend good money on a vacuum go buy something else that doesn't fall apart so easily. The vacuum itself is crap, I regret upgrading from the previous model.

My hose tore when I pulled it too far while vacuuming and this was a breeze to replace. It showed up quickly and after a few button/lever presses I had it replaced. I recommend this product.
