Needles wouldn't work on my Singer Sewing Machine
I have a Singer Heavy Duty sewing machine I purchase these needles for. The needles don't work properly because the stem part which goes into the machine to hold the needle is just a little too short. This makes the plastic cross piece ride just a little too high and catch the thread. I had to purchase Singer needles for my machine.FYI, I'm sure the quality of these needles is just fine if you sewing machine can use them.

Nice fit on my low shank machine.
Most machines have a few extras that may include a pack of twin needles. I liked the results enough to get this set which are at different widths. If you are interested in getting your top stitches to have that "store bought" look. Try these. Understand you should practice straight stitches for a more professional result. Or a stitch guide would help. Additionally, there are 2 wide hole presser feet that work well. If your machine doesn't have an extra spool pin, you can use 2 bobbins on your one spool pin! I haven't tried this but it should work.

1 of 6 usable (so far)
At first I thought perhaps these needles would not work with my specific Brother sewing machine. But after feeling the needles between my fingers it was obvious that 4 of the 6 were bent so that one needle angled forward. Maybe I got a defective batch, (Seems unlikely as they were different sizes) but most of the needles were completely unusable. I have included photos to show how bent and uneven the needles sit in relation to each other. The 2nd and 3rd images are needles that I never used and are exactly as I received them. Needless to say, the bent needles would have smashed into the deck of the sewing machine. Thankfully the bent ones were so badly skewed from parallel I didn’t even try to sew with most of them. Had I, those needle would definitely have snapped badly violently. There were two needles (different sizes) that passed the hand advance check. The first one bent a few stitches into sewing (see 1st image). I was hemming the sleeve of a lightweight/ thin sweatshirt, so while it was thicker than some thin t-shirt material it was by no means a heavy fabric. I was able to finish hemming both sleeves with the second straight needle but I babied it all the way through sewing as the slowest speed setting and assuring that there was never any tension on the needle. Obviously for $7, it’s not worth the trouble to return the needles. I wouldn’t buy from this manufacturer again which is a real bummer since they seem to have a good selection of needles. I cant tell you if you should purchase these needles, but I would strongly caution you to hand turn to advance the needles when you try them out to avoid injury or needing to extract a chunk of broken needle from your machine.
