The Secret Language of Signs: How to Interpret the Coincidences and Symbols in Your Life

They're the most useful things you pay no attention to. When dealing with signs and symbols, you may experience an emotional, psychological and spiritual resonance. This occurs when the symbols connect with your inner self. signs also communicate large ideas in order to bring people together in loyalty, obedience, love or fear. One example of a symbol is the war in the Middle East. It does not matter if your experience or attitudes about the war are different from another's. This symbol evokes great emotion. Today, people fight and die for their individual emblems or flags. In this war, the combatants may be Americans, Europeans or Middle Easterners, yet all are willing to die for what their respective symbols represent. All of these people have come from different societies, yet their symbols are powerful enough for a person to risk their life. While some symbols are universal, others are specific to a certain culture or a different time period.

I found this book shortly after it's 1996 publication, under the title SIGNPOSTS, and devoured it with great pleasure. It gives useful instruction on how to understand and interpret the messages which the Universe is constantly sending to us, if only we knew how to read them. It also helps the reader to become increasingly receptive to these signs, and more aware of the meaningful coincidences that ocur in everyone's life. The best thing about this book is that I've been able to go back to it, so many times over the years, to refer to the SINGPOSTS DICTIONARY - which always helps me to interpret a mysterious sign that has appeared in my life. Though such a dictionary could never be complete because of the infinite possibilities offered by the Universe, the definitions in Denise Linn's dictionary have always pointed me towards a deeper understanding of the magical signs and coincidences I've experienced. I highly recommend this book.

I had the most amazing breakthrough while reading Denise Linn's book The Secret Language of Signs. I didn't realize how much and how often Spirit was trying to communicate with me before I started reading this book. Now I watch for signs in my body, my surroundings, music, conversations, nature, and other people. In fact, there is hardly a time when the Universe is not speaking!I got a message in a dream and when I looked up the key words from the dream in the Sign Dictionary contained in Ms. Linn's book, the dream made perfect sense to me. I knew exactly what the symbols and words meant and it gave me peace to know that something from my past was coming up for healing. After dealing with it, the pain in my body ceased! My body had been trying to give me a message for about six weeks, but I just didn't get it. I didn't even know my body could speak to me about emotional issues.Here's another example: I was reminded of the same name six times in a 24-hour period. Once, I saw it printed on a napkin; then, I heard it on the radio. Next, I saw a popular person by that name in a photograph hanging on the wall in a restaurant where I was eating; I saw it again on a billboard, then in an email, and finally on a note someone scribbled on a scrap piece of paper that was on my desk! That very same day, I found out that a person I knew by that name is expecting a baby! Plus, when I looked up the name in the Sign Dictionary, I found an even deeper meaning for me personally. I get it now.How helpful are signs? I heard a radio announcer talking about an auction of rock `n' roll memorabilia. One contract signed by a popular band in the 1960s went for over $100,000! At the time, I was having difficulty with someone, whom I felt was trying to take advantage of me. I remembered that I had signed a contract with the person, so I pulled out the contract and reminded the client of the terms we had agreed upon. My problem was resolved!There are signs all around us. Now, I know what to watch for and how to listen for them, I'm going to be looking for signs from now on. Thank you, Denise, for sharing.

As it always happens, when you expect more, you usually get less than you would havem had you not had any expectations.The book gives a good explanation of what form signs can take, and a very good on how you can "ask" for a sign using different techniques.Then it goes on to providing basic possible meanings of different things that appear to you (whether in dream or awake), which is where my main complaint lies - turns out there is no deffinite guide to signs. Different things mean different things to different people. And you have to use your intuition in figuring it out.But what if your intuition sux? If you feel you cannot trust it? If you are disconnected with your feelings and your truth? What then?Then you are screwed, I guess!

Adoro os livros e tarô da Denise Lynn mas esse livro é muito fraco.Estudo linguagem simbólica e esse livro nada mais é do que um mini dicionário de acordo com as próprias idéias da autora.A parte introdutória sobre símbolos é simplista e o livro é de páginas em papel jornal.Não vale o custo.

What can I say? Denise is an incredibly gifted writer who gets to the heart of the matter. She gives insight and it feels like she is there talking to you. Her works are riveting, compelling and straight from the heart.
