Generic Replacement Heads fit Norelco Philips HQ6 Quadra Action Shavers

Yes they are easy to install but they do not cut the whiskers and they snag and catch on whiskers which is painful. Unpleasant experience, do not buy this product.

The product works but it's just OK. Shaver works well if you have fuzz or very short beard hair. If longer 3 + days, it hurts. The blades are either not sharp enough or the quality may not be as good. Again, blades to the job if you shave everyday.

UPDATE: Downgrading my opinion after using these blades for more than a week. Don't waste your money on them. Instead, get a new razor.Cosmetically they look exactly the same, but they're not. It takes at least twice as long to shave and the results still aren't as good. Maybe it's that the head material is thicker, or because the blade doesn't have the "lift and cut" feature, even though it says it does. They occasionally grab a whisker. They get the job done if you're not too picky about getting a close shave.

I was a little hesitant to purchase, given some of the reviews, but these replacement heads have been just fine. I have not had the 'pulling the hairs out by the root' problem, even with two+ days of growth after a trip to the mountains. The only thing that I would say, is that they appear to be a little heavier than the originals, as my battery seems to not last as long (just a feeling, no empirical data to back this up).

I side with the other reviewers who find the blades fit fine but are insufficiently sharp. I've used Norelco razors since 1987 and never had such an issue with the replacement blades before; these seemed to give a slightly worse shave than the ones I replaced and definitely yanked whiskers out by the roots, especially with two days' growth. After a week, I bought a new Norelco (even though I find tNorelco's failure to produce replacement blades for my old, still perfectly functioning razor deplorable).

I've been using these heads for a few months. I read the previous reviews saying they grab and pull on whiskers, but bought them anyway. And it's true, they occasionally grab, pull and yank on nearby mustache/beard whiskers. It's annoying but not terribly painful. Just a pain in the ---.But considering the only other option is--- a new razor--- I guess we have to tolerate it.

These blades and foils were an exact fitting replacement for my fifteen year old shaver. Unfortunately, these were no longer offered by Norelco, so I appreciate them being made available. My shaving experience with the new parts has been about an 8 out of 10. That is because there is slight pulling of whisker hair that is not painful, just very unexpected from new, supposed-to-be 'razor-sharp' blades.

The HQ6 has triangular spinning unit that should meet a triangular receiving surface in the blade. The one I received was more of a square surface.
