Great for our tankless water heater
Exactly what we needed to be able to flush our tankless water heater. Installed myself and they work great

Best bang for your buck IMO
Construction of the valves is good. Threads are clean and consistent, they were cut well. No evident burrs or other issues. A few wraps with mega tape or blue monster Teflon and they are good to go. I do not consider these to be of any lesser quality than the hundreds of valves I have installed throughout the last 20 years as part of my job. If you are a competent do it your selfer/handyman you should not have any issues with these valves.You should look at the handle design, I have a Rheem tankless and had no issues with them clearing the wall. If you have a low profile unit it could be an issue as others have noted.

Must have if you installing tankless water heater makes the job easy to descale the buildup from the tankless water heater, using vinegar, hope vinegar will not corrode the fitting, I'll find out next year, will provide another review (I cleaned the fitting with water very well, so I don't expect it to corrod)

Works but not so sure about the long term
These isolator valves do indeed work. My issue is the built in unions. They are not the normal ball and socket brass to brass unions. Instead, these have a system that relies on a brass disc that mates to a neoprene washer to make the seal. I can't imagine these seals will survive extended use, or tolerate being reused in case of future need for service. The washers don't seem to be any standard size that I have seen before. It will take some research to find a usable replacement, or creative talent to fabricate a suitable replacement. Only recently installed these. Time will tell.
