This was a gift for my granddaughter for Christmas. She is going to start college and wants to be a doctor. I hoped this would remind her of her goals when things get really hard. She immediately put it on and wears it constantly. According to her it's the gift she loves the most.

in the last 3 months, I have never taken it off. I often forget that I have it on; but, when I notice it, I do like it. it's not obscenely big, and most don't even notice it... which is perfect because I purchased it for me not them.

I love my caduceus necklace. Looks exactly as I hoped it would, at lest the caduceus does. The chain that's included is very thin, fragile. I went and purchased one seperately that looks like "my style." Now the whole thing is awesome!

A beautiful symbol but not of medicine. This is a caduceus, representing the god Hermes. The Rod of Asclepius (God of Medicine) has a plain staff with a single seprent.

Chain is a tad delicate if you plan on gifting this to a man or someone whom stays active on a regular basis. Otherwise this is an elegant piece that is well worth the price. Fantastic present when looking for something personal and thoughtful.
