To fill the time gap between his debut and a new effort, Davi decided to release "Strange", an oddities/outtakes album. Twelve songs are from the "Free-Form" recording sessions. The final track is dated back to 1996, a song found on a dusty tape filled with early recordings of Davi. The songs on "Strange" were dropped out of "Free-Form" because the vibe they carried as a collected group of songs was so strong that they had to be released as an individual album. Sticking to the 4-track recording method, Davi delivers a heavier album. The moodiness that prevailed on "Free-Form" is not as blatant here and the humor found in songs like "I Wanna", "Love Song" and "Outro" make "Strange" a fine eccentric album.
