Small Enough for Socks
Mom is at a living facility and I iron these on her socks. Simple to iron-on. And they retain on the socks; it’s been over a year and they’re still affixed to the socks.

Five Stars
These are nice and surely have returned items back after multiple laundry use. My mom is in a nursing facility and a necessary fact of life now. Follow instructions for use. As long as you don't rub the label during first heating it will not smudge ... it's right there in the instructions folks! The only time they have fallen off is with attempted application to shoes on exterior and interior on my attempts.I’ve purchased total of 700 labels now... some are for mom’s roommate.I had tried a different brand for roommate bc couldn’t find this seller one time. It was a horrible experience with having to snap apart the labels & they didn’t stick as well as the Starlight, even though the pink color was easy to distinguish. The nursing home Staff enjoys the labels as most use magic marker initials. When Mom moved nursing homes ... about 2-3 months later a Bed Quilt was returned bc my phone number was on the label. It has paid for itself.

Sticks Forever!
They did what I wanted them to do, which is last through rigorous training. If you want to permanently mark your clothes and run them through the mud (literally), then you want these. The sock shown in the picture was new when I labeled it. As you can see, the sock looks worn out but the label is on there stronger than ever and only faded from application.I cannot give 5 stars because the label ironing process eventually ruined my iron. Every ten labels I’d use mean that I’d have to wipe the surface of the iron down of sticky residue. Even then, I can still see a permanent imprint of my name from the faded font. I feel like this happened because I had a higher end iron and the holes were placed in unavoidable spots and if I remember correctly, the directions say to avoid the holes. The labels wouldn’t always stick either and would come up with the iron.Takeaways: use a cheaper iron and follow the directions, then get ready for these labels to stay on your clothes forever.

No more losing uniform clothes
Bought these to label all of my daughter school uniform clothes. She attends private Catholic school with strict uniform code so each shirt runs at $30 and the bottoms/sweaters are each $50! These allow me to label her name on them so if she misplaced her clothes, then the teachers easily return them. Less stress on me having to hunt down her misplaced uniforms.

Labels for nursing home resident clothing
I purchased these customizable labels for my grandma, who recently moved into an assisted living facility. The labels are easy to read. Each label is a different size with the text not centered in some so I think they must be hand-cut. It's not a huge deal but it was noticeable.Once the label is adhered to the clothing, it sticks pretty well on most fabrics. Only a couple have fallen off. However, some of them curled up and bubbled badly when applying. It was all in one session with the iron at the same temperature so I'm not sure why that would be.Overall they have been helpful for my grandma and it has improved the rate of returned clothing from the laundry.

All Star Review for Starlight!
I have just received my second order of your labels. I'm surprised to see any negative comments, as we used up 200 of these on our first order and have had absolutely no problems whatsoever! This last six months, the nursing home has been doing my sister's laundry and even at the high temperatures they use, all labels are still adhering just fine and are perfectly legible. It is just very important to attach them with sufficient heat and follow instructions well. I rarely write reviews, but felt these were deserving. I heartily recommend this product.

So disappointed - wasted time & money
I purchased two sets of these labels for my in-laws to use for labeling their clothes as they moved to a nursing home. The labels arrived quickly and looked great, but the instructions weren't very clear. "Heat iron to "DRY", hottest setting"? Did that mean use the hottest setting within the dry settings or use the hottest setting of all and just don't use steam? I tried the first, since that made the most sense, and would work with most clothing items. Then there was the issue with the labels not adhering. Most of the labels "appeared" to adhere (although a few didn't), but later that day, as we moved the clothing around, we found labels laying all over the place. All in all, about 1/3 of the labels stayed in the clothing. I haven't checked with the nursing home to see if those few stayed in after they were laundered. So I have almost 200 labels that either got thrown away because they fell off the clothing or I won't be using because they probably won't stick. The time I wasted ironing I could've just written their names in the clothes.
