Boomerang Eco-Friendly Interior Paint, Eggshell Finish (Coal)

This is great paint. You do have to mix it A LOT (10 min+) at first to really get the paint to a syrupy consistency otherwise its very watery. The color is amazing, very true to what is advertised, it does look lighter and shiny until it dries all the way then its dark and almost matte. The payoff is great, I only did two coats, first one covered pretty well (it was over cream and black paint) so I only did a second to even any streaks and spots I missed. Its doesn’t take too long to dry and honestly the smell isn’t that bed. Smells like paint, but definitely paint in a well ventilated space. It didn’t seep under any of the painter’s tape I laid down and wipes off surfaces really easy with a wet towel (I kind of got it here and there). I ended up using about 1/2 (little less) of the can, but I poured more than I actually ended up needing so I could have used less. Its overall a very nice paint and color that I would recommend if you’re looking for a dark, deep, vibrant foresty green.

I truly loved using this paint. I have always used SW ONLY until I found this. I bought the dark blue galaxy and it is gorgeous. I used two coats and it went on easily. Wish they had more colors available and I’d buy more. Thinking about getting the evergreen now. And people fussing over fumes, I thought this had significantly less odor than SW. I still opened my windows because it’s PAINT. overall very satisfied. And my paint came in a reinforced box with no issues during transit.

I felt in this case it was important to post some feedback as a result of some of the comments I have read. It is very important to understand what you are buying; and many of the comments make it obvious many who have bought this were expecting paint like what was suggested when they were in Lowes or Home Depot. Additionally, it IS true this paint has a different smell that caught me off-guard. I wouldn't say it's terrible, but be aware it sticks around for a few days; so plan to open some windows and endure a few days of small. In the end, the result is great! I will update my review with pictures when we have finished the rest of the room (we had additional work, then more painting).This is a traditional single coat paint. Often times we purchase "Paint with Primer" in stores, but we need to understand a few things about "Paint with Primer".- Home Depot / Lowes are selling their Paint with Primer for nearly double the price of this paint.- Paint with Primer actually contains no primer (think about the physics of rolling primer below paint.... without first rolling primer then paint). It is in fact thick paint that equals out to nearly a double coat of standard paint (such as this).Knowing that, I found this boomerang paint provided good coverage for what paint it was and I believe the following tips will help you decide if this is the right paint for you and find success using it:If you are painting over a similar color you should achieve full coverage with 2 coats.If you are painting over a dissimilar lighter color you should achieve full coverage with 3 coats.If you are painting a light color over a dark color, prime first.....

My project took several more cans of paint than I would have to use with a different brand. The coverage is not the best. I am not sure if it is a 'me problem', but I have found that small touchups do not blend well.

Wanted to paint some trim and my ceiling in kitchen and in bedroom. Strong smell but you can open a window. It's a matte color so no shine but it's a beautiful creamy white. I had previously painted my cupboards a very stark white color so I was worried they wouldn't match but this paint looks great and now my rooms are brighter.

This paint is terrible!!! Even after 3 years on the wall, it bleeds into whatever touches it! Only months after applying, it rubbed off in several areas exposing the previous paint. And now, just when I was so excited to repaint the room with a high quality paint/primer combo, the deep blue bane to my existence starts melting into the new paint, causing a blue hue throughout the entire room with blue streaks and specks!!!!! I can’t get rid of it!!!!! Buyer beware, save yourself the nightmare and go to your local home improvement store for good paint!

Ok here’s the 100% honest true review of this paint. I literally have nothing to gain or lose with telling the truth so here it is, the good and the bad:Bad: It’s NOT gray. I don’t care what anyone says the final color of the paint is not gray. The color on the side of the paint can is not what you get. It’s more a blueish gray color. But definitely not gray. Now with saying that here’s the good news...Good: The blueish gray color is actually very nice. In the end the paint color come out very pretty, even tho it’s not the color I thought I was buying. So I can’t take any points away for the final look of the paint because it really is pretty.However...Final: In the end I gave it 3 stars because even tho the final blueish gray color did come out very pretty and worked for my bathroom but it’s not the color I was made to believe I was buying and sorry that’s kinda the point of buying something, getting exactly what you paid for.Lastly - To the people complaining about the “bad smell”, sorry but that’s just nuts, it smells like paint lol.

This paint is amazing! I read the reviews and thought I’d try it so I don’t have to brave the Home Depot and wow! I bought two gallons and could easily have done two coats with just one. Covers great, spread easily, beautiful color-I am so happy. It smells like regular paint and I just made sure to mix it well before starting and it was perfect. I will definitely use this paint again.
