Piece of s*** broke on first tow off the track.

The hardware is well machined. The anodized finishes are nice and present really well. Looks like single or double chrome on the bolt that screws into the car. We’ll see how fast it rusts. The only major gripe is that the socket head bolt that holds the ring onto the shaft doesn’t have a stop that keeps from locking down the ring when you tighten it, rather than allowing it to swing. Also, it’s metal on metal (anodized) on the surfaces that touch rather than slip washers. Some loctite will be added to my threads. I’d think a stainless or grade 5 or higher bolt would be a good idea too. I do think it’s strong enough to pull the car out of a ditch.

Mine came in stuck straight, so the red part of the hook is locked straight. After all the pictures, unboxing videos, and such, I'm finding out that it should be lose and should be able to bend it straight from the box like everyone else's

Bought this for my 2013 smart for two thinking I'd have to modify it somehow because it said wouldn't fit my vehicle but this fit perfectly. Definitely just for ornamental I wouldn't tow with this but makes the car look sportier and gives it a race look

DOES NOT WORK FOR MOST FOREIGN AND GERMAN CARS, this is made for your american cars and cars that do not have reverse threading. Does not and will not work for my 2013 Volkswagen Jetta, it has reverse threading and this product did not state what it works on. Right now its for show, if you slightly pull on it, it will come out, Very surprised it doesn't come out in the car wash..

This just fit and work fine. Having a really hard snow in high mountain in Colorado means i got stuck a lot. My OEM got lost somewhere deep bury in the snow when a big truck tried to tow my car which got stuck and when the tow rope snapped I lost it. I bought this after market and looks and feels strong. I haven't used it but from when it attached to the bumper, I can tell this is strong enough. The only small complaint is that it's not align either vertical or horizontal. The turn stop at around 10 o'clock it's just doesn't look good since I'm planning to leave it there hanging.

Looked alright for a few weeks but like others have stated it does fade and start to look unattractive.EDIT:Have had this hook since February and since then it's gone from a shiney red to an ugly dull orange. Save the $10 and go buy yourself a nice car wash because a shiney car looks much better than this crap.

I bought this mainly for aesthetics and to cover the rusty tow hook attachment on my race front bumper reinforcement on my 2016 Mustang GT performance pack. Little did I know my clutch would go out a little over a week after attaching it and I would need to tow my car. When the truck arrived, I was hesitant to actually trust the cheap hook to pull my car up on the flatbed and to secure it while it drove to the dealership. To my amazement, the hook served its true purpose and made this purchase worth every penny.

Bought this as a present for my brothers BMW and he loves it. Took a bit of playing around with to get it in the right position but once it was in and set, I can't complain. Great price and great product. He said he had pulled his car from it once when he was stuck in some snow and no issues with the light pull he needed.

Good value and great product. I never had to use it yet, but it looks sturdy, clean and well made. Just wonder sometime why it is made of aluminium instead of steel, but whatever works. I will recommend the product, it fits my BMW 330i verywell.

Does NOT fit 2019 Veloster. Even though it says it does. Will be returning.

Does not fit my 2014 F30 320i xDrive. The bolt is 15.8 mm, the hole for my car is around 20mm.I think the information on the page is a little misleading.

Solid, great quality. Definitely looks great.Only issue I'd mention is that the bolt is slightly too long. Sticks out just a bit too much, but it still looks good.
