I bought this jam for my mom who was looking for a fruity apricot jam that doesn't have any added sugar and actually tastes like apricot. The apricot jam is pretty good, but it is a little on the runny side, making it harder to spread properly. Definitely a quality product, but I think you can find better for the same price or slightly less. Whole Foods has bionatur apricot jam which my mom and I both preferred so if you are looking for an alternative that is available in stores you should try that.

This jam is SO delicious!! Our friends gave us a jar as a gift, well it was so incredible we ordered 2 more and these will not last long. it is like eating the home-made apricot jam my grandmother used to make. It literally tastes like fresh home grown apricots in a jar. I think we will have to get on an auto-ship plan :)

The reason I decided to try it is because it’s low carbohydrate compared to “regular” apricot preserves, 5gram vs 15gram. But it is so delicious, there’s no compromise made on the taste for the lower sugar content and there’s no artificial sweeteners. I could just eat it on a spoon it’s so good. It’s syrupy (but not watery), so if you’re looking for more of a thick paste, you might not like it, but I think it’s fantastic and it’s less expensive than the Bonne Maman “Intense”, which is what I was getting before. Maman is also great at 9grams, but my order was lost and when I went to replace it, it said unavailable. I’m glad it did. Thank you Always Apricot, you’ve got a customer for life!

The most delicious apricot preserves I’ve tasted. Just like eating the fruit, this has very little sugar. Expensive but So worth the money!

I have tried six other brands, including two from small run artisanal companies, looking for that "just right" apricot taste and I have made my own. Always Apricot wins. OK, it's actually a flavor tie with my homemade but given the ease of no mess in the kitchen and being able to purchase this year round (vs waiting for the limited availability of apricots at the grocer), I will be relying on Always Apricot. It tastes as fresh as you can imagine and maintains that important touch of tartness that typifies a California vs Turkish apricot. If that is something you like and don't care for tooth achingly sweet fruit concoctions, try this. It is a very low sugar jam as a Tablespoon contains only 4g sugar. In addition to eating on toast, I have used it as a spread between layers of yellow cake and also coconut cake, mixed in with buttercream or just as is. Makes for a nice flavor surprise when the cake is eaten. Delicious. Great with yogurt, too.
