ThomastikInfeld IN110 Guitar Strings, Complete Superalloy Set

I put these on my epi les Paul and was blown away by how awesome the overall sound and tone of these strings. Better than elixers in my opinion.

These strings are the best strings on the planet (and possibly other planets). You can parse the sublties of other strings but it will all be a mute issue after you try these. The guitar itself is just the hardware that holds the strings. It's the strings themselves that are the important piece. I will not use anything other Thomastik Infeld strings. Power Brights and Blues Sliders are equally good. Amen.

I was never picky when it came to restringing my guitars. I came across a demo pack of the IN110s at my job (I work at a music store), and threw them on my Telecaster. I immediately noticed a more articulate ring and a better feel. These strings are killer. I will definitely continue to use these!

I've been trying different strings and figured expensive for a reason but not so much. These are pretty flat, kind of lifeless. It's the first time I've thought a set of strings actually made the guitar sound bad. They didn't want to stay in tune either and stretching didn't help. Even if I don't like a set of strings I still play them out, these came right off after a few days, they were that bad.

Nice by expensive. I like d'adario and bright wires by gibson.

I have buddies that are bassists and swear by Thomastik, and on a whim I decided to try a set. I usually buy quality guitar strings - D'Addario, Ernie Ball are my usual go to brands, and had used others (Dunlop, Dean Markley, Fender, SIT) at some point in my musical journey.I feel D'Addario is the best in terms of quality vs price.In comparison, these are far superior. I am not sure how much of a discernible aural difference there is to a set, but the guitar I put these on feels faster, the pitch representation is more accurate and the overall sound is more polished. I'd say they are maybe about 10-15% better in terms of tone and consistency than the D'Addario they replaced. In terms of price, these are 3 times more. I am getting these for the studio, where a price of a studio recording hour can buy me 10 sets of Thomastik, and I think there these strings work.

These are very clear, bright and articulate with even tone across all strings. They are not as "soft" on the fingers as elixirs but sound equally good, if not better if you prefer a bright string sound.

Not bad. I use them on my les Paul and they’re quite bright, and the string feel isn’t great. A little to loose compared to Ernie balls or gibsons. Decent tuning stability and have kept their tone after a week of playing around 2 hours a day. I’d probably go back to slinkys - ideally the gibsons when / if they start production again.

JAZZ Swingの方を使っていて非常に気に入ってたのでコチラも購入。ストラトに張りました。トマスティックらしい柔らかさで、ピッキングのニュアンスを充分に拾ってくれて、この弦にしか出せない音が出ると思います。ライフも長い方だと思います。自分は3〜4ヶ月で錆が酷くなってきたら交換します。逆に弦が死にかけたぐらいの音が好みだったりします。箱物はJAZZ SwingでソリッドはInfeldで理想の弦に辿り着けた気がします。

この弦の特徴はそのテンションからくるゆったりした大人^^?の音色。ダダリオを比較対象にすると、かなり柔らかい弦です。伸びやかで艶のある音ですが、故意にエッジを立てていない自然で量感のある音色と言えます。さすがはトマスティックというところ。若干高いかもしれませんが、そもそも音が死ぬまでの期間は長め。まめにやさしく汚れを取りながら弾けば倍音を残しつつ良いコンディションを保てるでしょう。前述したようにテンションが柔らかいのでアームユニットのバネやネックのセッティングなどは他の弦に交換した時より変更幅が大きいと思ってください。良い弦です。

小売してる店があまり無いみたいなので通販に頼りました。特に巻弦側3本はは手触り、手応えがしなやかな感じで、繊細な鳴り。ほかのメーカーの弦とかなり感触が違います。新品張りたてのギラギラした感じは少ないかわりに鈍くなるまでの弦の持ちが長い方だと思います。セミアコに張ってますがとても気に入りました。ハード、ヘヴィ系には向かないかもしれませんが、ブルージーなプレイには向いていると思う。
