Amazon transferred to the package to USPS when it arrived in my city. The US Postal Service took it 100 miles out of town, delayed it for 2 days and the package also arrived in a ripped box despite the excellent quality of the materials and care used to ship the backspalsh. The backsplash looks great and is an asset to my new stove. It truly is heavy and takes two people to hang it. We had a contractor hang it to be sure it was done properly. Taking the black film off is difficult and should be done before hanging.

Well made, make sure u measure, has sticky 3m tape on back at all edges. I put over tile and used museum "tape"/like sticky putty to hold to glass tile as didn't want permanent or unable to remove. It sits on granite counter top for vertical support. It has a very sticky thin plastic like covering over the shiny side facing out. Remove before attaching as it is really tough to remove after installed to wall behind range.

The stainless steel panel looks great and feels sturdy. It's about half the price of comparable ones online so that makes it a good value. The 32 inch height ensures that you can cover the full area between the counter and just about any range hood you want (though it does have rounded corners so you will need to consider that).The problem is with the mounting system. I didn't even try the adhesive strips, this thing is heavy and even if the adhesive were to work perfectly it would be relying on the paint adhesion on the wall. Instead I used some French cleats along the bottom to hold the bulk of the weight and then added some brackets at the top. The panel unfortunately bowed out near the middle so I had to add some screw heads near the middle which keep it nice and flat but unfortunately they're visible. If I can find some trim to mount to the cabinet, I can get rid of those extra screws.

I am IN LOVE with this oven backsplash. Unfortunately the sticky back didn't work since our wall wasn't completely flat (no fault of the product), so shortly after hanging it, it fell behind the stove and got scratched. After sending some photos, customer service replaced it no problem. We drilled holes in the replacement and screwed it in. Our kitchen looks SOOO much better now.

I purchased the 36x22 for backsplash behind our stove. The product was packaged sufficiently and arrived undamaged. It is solid with hemmed edges. It comes with a double sided tape for mounting, but it’s too heavy for that to last long term. We mounted it with construction adhesive and screws at the bottom. Cleans beautifully and added a dramatic flair to our new kitchen.

I'd read so many reviews about other backsplashes being received in damaged condition. I was very impressed with the quality of the shipping materials for this product. As others have said, I didn't trust the double-sided tape and secured with a 3/4 " aluminum angle iron at top under hood into studs, and added a vertical bead of silicon caulking every 3 inches. I installed two as I ran it from the hood to the floor, as I had to replace drywall and relocate electrical and gas lines. A Plasma cutter worked fantastic to cut the electrical outlet opening. Installing a 6" granite backsplash atop the midway point angle even with the countertop.

There are some negative reviews on this particular backsplash, and I can understand some people's frustrations. The panel arrives with double sided tape (thick and extremely tacky). For some, the tape failed. But I had another idea. I hung it, but prior to doing so, I predrilled holes to accommodate a speed rail shelf. Used doubled headed screws. The double headed screws worked to reinforce the panel to stay put, and the additional head of the screw allows the shelf to easily hang and come off for cleaning. Love it. 5⭐️

Packaging was great. Arrived with no damage. The black plastic cover attached to the surface was a nightmare to remove. The glue tapes around the edges are NOT enough to hold this thing so you must use additional glue, screws and washers to fasten it to the stud otherwise you may risk of it falling behind your stove and possibly bust your gas line (Yes…explosion! ).The disaster comes a couple of days later when the heat cause the whole thing bent into waves. This thing supposed to be a flat sheet of metal but now it looks like a wavy sheet. It is impossible to remove it now without causing significant damage to the wall (because of all that glue). So I guess we are stuck with this hideous piece of crap on the wall. Run away….

Looks great with magnetic utensil strip and hangers from Ikea. Cleans easily with isopropyl alcohol.I cut an opening for a remote fan switch with no discoloration.I can't comment on the effectiveness of the adhesion because I also used screws to mount it. You need a good quality bit to drill through this.

Great product, looks nice, feels solid and thicker than I expected.Aggressive is wishful thinking. Even using PL premium didn't keep it up on my wall. I eventually bought a drill bit to go through the stainless steel and screwed in to the wall.I want expecting the adhesive to workwhen I bought this, which is why I'm giving it 5 stars. But drilling through stainless steel isn't that easy for everyone. I should mention, I installed this over tile.

The backsplash is excellent quality and looks wonderful. Shipping package was extremely solid and completely protected the stainless steel backsplash. Although easy to install, it will take two people, especially if you are installing over an existing backsplash. The self-adhesive strips provided are useless. They will not hold the weight of the backsplash. We added "globs" of construction level adhesive to the back, at corners and center, and pressed firmly in place and that did the job..

I was a bit Leary spending this much on a piece of stainless but it is beautiful and a real heavy guage. It was really well packaged as well and arrived in pristine condition. Obviously the supplied "sticky" strips are not gonna hold this heavy piece to the wall long term but I put some pl on there and they held it up long enough for it to dry so it worked out well . I would reccomd this it really adds to the kitchen and is super easy to clean a+

Got it in good condition. However one not-so-good thing is that the sticky strip at the back is not strong enough but that could be because of the material it is attached to which is marble. But overall happy with this.
