Podpoi v2 LED Poi - The World's Favorite Glowpoi

The media could not be loaded. This was my first set of real poi. They use a USB B charger. Easy to take apart for cleaning. The battery lasts 10ish hours? I usually get 4 sessions out of one charge. They can take a beating. I drop and toss these things A LOT!they haven't broken. This set has been very good for this beginner! The ropes are soft and durable no fraying or breaking. Light weight, bright LED, lots of settings. Easy to use.They are perfect starter set and worth the money.I am buying another set as a giftYes would buy again and again

I Started off spending a cheaper pair of poi but decided to upgrade after a year of spinning. My cheaper pair broke after a number of collisions. So I decided to get pod poi. These are great poi. They are well-balanced with most of the weight at the very end of the poi. The knob handles make them very easy to spin for long periods of time without the strain irritating your fingers. These poi have the most vibrant bright colors of any that I have used. If your brand new to poi you should probably buy something cheaper try it out see if you like it before investing this kind of money. It would be good to remember though if you do like it the cheap pair of poi that you buy will very quickly become something you want to upgrade once you see somebody spinning pod poi. If you’re interested in becoming a serious spinner and want to own the best quality poi on the market these are for you. The patterns are super customizable. There are very bright patterns and very dim patterns for when you don’t want to stand out too much. Glad I purchased these hopping to buy a set of crystal poi soon. I really enjoy my flowtoys. The battery lasts a long time and they are very durable.

The media could not be loaded. I was interested in learning poi spinning, and bought these as my first pair. While they are not cheap, especially for someone who may not be sure whether they'd even enjoy poi spinning, I can attest that the quality of these LED poi are top notch and well worth the investment. The lights are super bright and the number of modes available on top of the customization of each mode is astounding. As a beginner, I've inadvertently caused my poi to collide with each other (and myself) many times, but they hold up really well despite my inexperience. Best of all, because the pods are made of a soft silicone, it doesn't hurt when the poi hit me!I will say, I bought these without knowing all of the ins and outs of poi spinning and I learned a few things as a result of this being my first pair. Namely, the tethers on the poi tend to chafe against your fingers and/or knuckles depending on how you grip the poi, which can lead to blistering and a lot of pain for the first week or two of spinning. As such, a beginner may want to start with sock poi as they are less expensive and will not cause chafing like the podpoi and most other tethers. With that said, my hands built up callouses after the first week or two of spinning, and since then I haven't dealt with any blistering on my hands.All in all, well worth the purchase! If you're a beginner like me, I'd still recommend getting some sock poi first (or make your own for a few bucks with knee-length socks and balloons filled with rice!) to see if you enjoy poi spinning, and then look into getting some Podpoi later on if you decide you want to continue spinning.

These are the best. Great poi! The color combinations are incredible. The flow of them and how the light reacts is super cool! Definitely on the spendy side but I absolutely love mine.

The idea for buying poi came from my daughter who wanted fire poi, but here in southern California with perpetual the drought and wild fire warnings, I questioned that wisdom. Her self made poi with shoe laces and tennis balls showed seriousness about the 'sport' but looked really tacky. She had me try them, however, and it was fun challenging my co-ordination, balance and made it fairly easy to do my shoulder rehab without getting bored.I bought 4 types of poi because I wanted to see what was the best one to recommend on my website in sections about vision therapy and neurological re-education. Although this was the most expensive pair I bought, I believe it was also the best value. This pair has many colors, patterns of motions, they were easy to swing even before I knew what I was doing and my 25 yr old has a blast using them. I like that it charges from a USB port (no worries about batteries), that they are soft and do not hurt when they crash into you. She hangs them on from a hook in her apartment and turns them on for mood lighting saving the expense of another lamp. When she went to a 'fire spin' event she did not have to stop having fun because her fire ran out, long charge life made it so she could pass them around and let others show her cool tricks and she made some new friends.

I just wish the user interface was easier.

The media could not be loaded. Okay so I upgraded big time from a $20 set - these are INCREDIBLE! Came with a carrying bag, charger, and lifetime warranty. The weighted aspect makes these superior to the other ones, especially as a newbie (great for stalls!!), and the lighting device is super sturdy with a ton of options. Also, surprisingly the hurt less when hitting yourself! They work perfectly, look great, perfect size and shape, and they feel sturdy and incredibly durable. An excellent investment for a quality piece!
